Without Hatem and a striker I think they'll win fairly comfortably. :(

Based on what?

On what I know about both teams, obviously.

I just can't see us scoring, man.

I don't think it will be a problem, even without a new striker.

What makes you think they'll find it any less hard going? They don't seem to have a lot of goals in them either.

They're hardly very good.

Never said they were. Don't think they'll need to be to stop us scoring.

Think positive man.

He's not being irrationally negative. Sunderland played fairly well in parts against Sunderland. We still looked like we were having a pre-season hangover throughout the Arsenal game. Sunderland win looks quite likely to me, and I'd like to think of myself as one of the more optimistic posters!

Not really. I'm usually pretty positive when predicting, but on Saturday I saw a side missing cohesion and key components. I'll revise it if we get a striker and a LB in before the weekend.

Aya, against Arsenal, and we still didn't get beat. I know we're facing the mighty Pennywell Galacticos this weekend, they might win, but to say they'll win comfortably is a bit too negative for me like. Agree about us needing a LB for a positive result though

O really?  :troll:

Yup. Nothing spectacular, but solid defensively and showed signs of promise going forward.

O really?  :troll:

You got me. Well played, sir.

No reason at all to think we wont be able to score past Sunderland like

Exactly, we did it 6 times last season.  :memelol:

And Ameobi is all that remains :shifty:

Ah but this season we have Ameobi Squared, Sammi And Shola FTW.

Love that logic. "our team lacked cohesion on saturday, add in more new players and we have more of a chance"

Can't believe I'm sticking up for Ronaldo, but cohesion isn't achieved exclusively through familiarity.
