Did Mali qualify for the ACN?

Not as of yet, they're 2nd in their group with Cape Verde top, Zimbabwe 3rd and Liberia 4th

My African football knowledge is minimal, but that doesnt seem a very tough group, but it looks very close

PS: United's last transfer dealing with Sochaux saw them acquire Sebastien Bassong after a successful trial in July 2008, selling the defender on to Spurs for a substantial profit barely a year later.

From what I can gather it looks a similar type of player to Ba and Shola. Which is probably the resason why we haven't already bid for him.

From the players we've been linked with/bid for, it certainly looked like we were after a little nippy striker to play alongside Ba, this guy doesnt really fit the bill. One might even suggest this looks like a bit of a panic buy. But none the less, he scored 15 goals last season and the season before, still relitively young and he's a striker. Something we're absolutely desperate for.

Hope it comes off like, even if its out of sheer desperation for a striker with more ability than fucking Lovenkrands, Shola andBest.

FC Sochaux-Montbéliard recorded in amazement as the boycott by one of its players from the meeting of the Ligue 1 side Stade Malherbe Caen and absence without leave of the same element in the training session scheduled this Sunday, August 14 2011.

The direction of the club condemns this unacceptable behavior from a player which is contractually bound after engaging in summer 2010 for a period of four years (until June 2014).

FCSM consider that this behavior is totally disrespectful to the club, his teammates and his fans. It will not be without consequence or punishment.

Or it means we sign this dude and Loven is out the door.  Leaving room for fast nippy player to come in.

Just checked him on FM where I'm currently in 2014. He plays for Sunderland and played sh*t following his £7.25mil move

Although on the plus side, it looks like he has good balance, which is the opposite of Shola

Yven Moyo was signed from Sochaux, Sept 2010.
