Punk77
Don't forget that it took Enrique at least a year to become the player he is so don't judge too early. Make that 3,5 years.

TRon
Don't forget that it took Enrique at least a year to become the player he is so don't judge too early. More like it took a year for him to get a game because our managers couldn't see he was a class player when others spotted it much earlier.

Good old Sam - but initally he made mistakes even if we all saw the promise that he later fulfilled
Cajun
This does seem like a pretty amazing signing and fair play to all involved getting a good replacement for Jose when tbh a lot of us were expecting someone like Bridge. 20 years old. Champions league experience (ah go on then, they won it). Winning Serie A. Playing for a big European club. Versatile. Played for Italy at all youth levels and 7 caps already for the full side. Also a bit of extra height to the side. Pretty bloody impressive coup if you ask me.

thenige
Apologies if this has already been posted, but a decent article about how he fell out of favour here - http://blogs.thescore.com/footyblog/2011/04/05/bandini-davide-santons-fall-from-stardom/ Worth a read IMO. Must also say I'm bloody delighted we've got him.

Cronky
Seems to fit the profile of a number of our signings - a promising young player whose career has stalled for one reason or another and who is therefore available at a reasonable price which reflects an element of risk. If they all fulfil their earlier promise, we'll have a good side.
