The lack of quality depth we have there has certainly been of concern since the season started. Our worst fears of losing both Coloccini and Saylor have come to life today - should be a massive indicator to Pardew that a CB is needed! I know a lot of the NE journos said he wasn't a priority in January, but with Taylor out, buying a young defender that can play RB and CB to fill in for him will solve our full back situation in the long term and our CB situation for now. I'm all for signing a new full back (preferably LB) in the long term but we need a specialist CB to plug the gap by Taylor not someone who 'can do a job'. Would be an unnecessary risk IMO. Any Ligue Uuuuuuuuuuuuuurn watchers here? Anyone been decent this season?
