Realistic Transfer Targets

A CB should definitely be top of the wishlist. The lack of quality depth we have there has certainly been of concern since the season started. Our worst fears of losing both Coloccini and Saylor have come to life today - should be a massive indicator to Pardew that a CB is needed!

I dread to think what our defence will be against Norwich next week.

M'Biwa should become a more urgent option now. I know a lot of the NE journos said he wasn't a priority in January, but with Taylor out, buying a young defender that can play RB and CB to fill in for him will solve our full back situation in the long term and our CB situation for now.

Nobrainer for me. Get him in.

Prefer to buy a specialist CB if I'm being honest. I'm all for signing a new full back (preferably LB) in the long term but we need a specialist CB to plug the gap by Taylor not someone who 'can do a job'. Would be an unnecessary risk IMO.

Any Ligue Uuuuuuuuuuuuuurn watchers here? Anyone been decent this season? (Preferably one who is having contract issues/is easily unsettled - naturally)

Would he leave mid season with Montpellier comfortably in the Champs league places? pretty questionable... Douglas is far more likely imo

Well. Can't exactly say I know for sure, but he's dying to play in the Premier League.
