Realistic Transfer Targets

World cup players you'd like at NUFC?

Poulson from Denmark

Laxalt from Uruguay

Mandzukich as he's 32 - final payday?  :naughty:

Senegal winger. Forgot his name but he's terrific

Ismaila Sarr, had an absolutely class tournament like, only 20.

On 26 July 2017, Sarr signed a four-year contract with Ligue 1 side Rennes. The transfer fee paid to Metz was reported as €17 or 20 million, depending on the source. He picked the transfer to Rennes over a move to FC Barcelona.

Move along, nothing to see here

May as well go for Mbappe and Kante as they're as realistic as some of the names you've mentioned.

Mbappe wouldn't get a game though. Kante I reckon could push Diame for the cup games.

Welbeck will be grossly overpriced compared to what he actually does. No thanks.

What's grossly overpriced in this market?

£35m

So nowt to worry about then.

Would depend on his fitness record. He's a good striker, but hasn't he spent a lot of time out injured last couple of years?

Max Meyer still without a club.

Just been reading that. Shame he’s a billy big bollocks by the sound of things. No way the fat cunt would

Pay him what he wants either. Gone are the days we sign promising talent.

Watching Atlanta United vs DC United in the MLS at the moment. This Miguel Almiron we are said to be after looks decent but not great. One player who looks great though is DC Uniteds no.10 Luciano Acosta. Little tricky player with good vision. Only 5ft3 and could be too small for the Premier League though.

I feel like Rafa doesn't base things on one single match, though.

Well, he's 24 years old. I don't think he will get any taller if he's being watched more games though.?

Acosta’s a good player. As you said, I don’t know that he has the size to cut it in the PL. That being said, MLS is a fairly physical league and he holds his own.

Almiron’s been one of the league’s best players for two seasons now. And he does have “pedigree” coming from Lanús and playing for the Paraguay NT, for whatever that’s worth.

Also Josef Martinez looks good. Has scored 2 good goals so far today. Looked at his stats and he has scored 35 goals in 40 games for Atlanta United. Not the best of leagues but could be worth a gamble.
