Karjala
un fuckin believable start to the season. Scoring goals, not conceding goals, winning games we normally lose. Demba with 7 in 10, 22pts from 10. Crazy.

And should really have been another clean sheet tonight. i just wiped my nob on my monitor.
CPL
At one point Simpson completely slowed the play down, asked for the towel from the ball boy like do they at tennis gave it a slight clean and threw it back. Had me in stitches
Ashley17
Krul - Considering how he did nearly a year ago at home to Stoke, this shows how far he has come. Obviously the odd 1 or 2 scares but when you've had to deal with 6 giants throwing themselves at you for 90 minutes, I think he stood up well. Simpson - Much better than usual, no ricks of note. R Taylor - Very good, brave performance. Helped out a lot by Jonas. S Taylor - Nout of note, performance wasn't altered by the mask. Colo - King Jonas - The hardest working man in showbiz Guthrie - Impressive, grafted like fuck Cabaye - Likewise, grafted, barely passed half way Obertan - Put a cross in! Great opening 45, faded badly second half but nearly scored. Better than against Wigan - a great outlet on the break away from home Best - Holds the ball up well, Ba will get the headlines but Best was impressive Ba - Loves a goal. Perch - Loves a yellow Sammy/Gosling - No comment. Sammy Ameobi do do do! Pardew - Brave decision tonight, going for the old combed on one side/wild as fuck on the other. Clearly worked as the players observed his game plan to the word of the sexual maestro. FIST PUMP. Now...don't lose to Everton.

AyeDubbleYoo
Do wonder if narrowing the pitch actually helps Stoke, their wingers seems their only competent players.

Ketsbaia
Absolutely exceptional. Just incredible.....almost the perfect performance and I can't believe we did it. Was so comfortable, even with Perch on.
AyeDubbleYoo
99 problems but my team ain't one. Inexplicably. Man, I was trying to think of a post based on that after the Battlefield advert! Fair play to you sir.

aussiemag
Krul.......7 A few blunders and poor kicking, but coped well wnough with the barrageof crosses/throwins entering the box Simpson... 7 Lacked some common sense positioning himself and gave the ball away needlessly at times, however Etherington hardly had a sniff. Coloccini... 8 What a man! Composed, Strong, Intelligent and set up our second goal with a peach of a cross for Best Saylor... 8 Strong performane from the man in the mask, won alot in the air and was composed with the ball at his feet. Raylor... 8 Took an absolute battering and didnt put a foot long, developing a good partnership with Jonas. Great Performance Cabaye... 6 Kept things ticking well in the first half, but ultimately ran out of gas Guthrie.. 7 Excellent at retaining position and also looks to be alot fitter this season. Ran the most out of any player on the pitch by a country mile Obertan.. 7 Finally using his pace to scare the shit out of the opposition and a well taken assist Jonas.. 8 Defensively was an absolute rock.. ran himself to the gorund.. good at retainign possesion Best... 7 Fantastic physical presence and a great touch.. and assist and won us a penalty Ba... 9 Man is a goal scoring machine and full of confidence. Took 3 players on by himself a times Sameobi.. NA didnt see much of the ball Gosling.... Na likewise Perch... 6 Came on to do a job and got a yellowcard afer 10 seconds of being on the pitch. Whats new Pardew.. 9/10 suberp tactics Loved it at the end when the whole team got behind Krul and Ba and stood up to those big fuckers, trying to bully a goal. Disco
Do wonder if narrowing the pitch actually helps Stoke, their wingers seems their only competent players. Dan raised a good point too earlier, the ball drifted out needlessly loads from their stylish centre backs lofting it over the top.
Guest johnson293
http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showpost.php?p=11093604&postcount=543 As usual, we are over-acheiving, while they are just under-achieving. And we've had 'no injuries' yet. I'm Glad Tiote played tonight, like.
Tiresias
What's great there is the big gap between us and Norwich in 7th. Even if we lose against the manchester clubs and drop down the table somewhat we're in a great position.
Keefaz
Also, Perch could definitely have seen red for that foul. Would've been blinding to have been a man down after about 5 seconds of him coming on.

The Prophet
Krul 8 - Dealt with the set pieces and throw-ins brilliantly. Simpson 8 - Kept Eitherington quiet and always looked solid. Easily his best performance of the season. Colo 9 - Absolute class act, flawless performance. Taylor 8 - Brave, never looked flustered. Taylor 8 - See Simpson. Pennant barely had a sniff. Obertan 7 - Much better today, looked dangerous on the break and generally put in a decent shift. Guthire 8 - Did the job you'd expect Cabaye to do, great use of the ball. Cabaye 6.5 - Quality first half, sloppy in the second. Jonas 8.5 - Brilliant defensive shift, without looking too dangerous going forward. Best 7 - Grafted his bollocks off. Defended from the front and remained a pest throughout. Ba 8.5 - Great application, great effort, great hattrick. Pardew 8.5 - Got his tactics absolutely spot on, ruined it by bringing Perch on for Cabaye, outragous decision.
