Ketsbaia
to be honest i agree with most of what he says, but the tone in which he says it is cuntish of the highest order. he should try sprinting into a wall or something, the bellend.
Beren
I read the first four pages, then skimmed to page 8. Where are these quotes from? Did some bloke have a dictaphone or something? I saw Big Geordie's post on page 6, but would like to hear the recording with the words emanating from the horse's mouth (so to speak). Nothing surprising/shocking in there though. Licks Mike Ashley's arse, puts down Carroll, puts down Shearer, puts down Keegan, puts down Hughton, acts like an arsehole. Standard Derek Llambias. cfcmagpies
Completely baffled by it all. Thought it was a wind up when I started reading it.
littlelunchbox
our own fans ploting our own downfall going around trying to catch out our own chairman with dictaphones, whats this world coming to. ashamed of own fans, very ill informed to do this. Everything llambias said has a notion of truth in it. and it's that truth that people cant handle. the only thing that llambia did wrong was speaking it out in public, you would had think he should know how things work up here, but what he said , had he expressed them in private, its absolutely correct. Keegan - absolutely correct Shearer - looks correct Hughton - not sure, may be correct, but calling him indecisive is hardly the worst thing ever Carroll - so far, correct
cfcmagpies
Yep, practically forced poor old Ashley and Dekka into renaming the stadium and all.
Ronaldo
Keegan's head was f***ed up by lies, deceit and stupidity from those above.
Beren
If he's mouthing off like an inelegant prat in public, it's hardly as surreptitious as "trying to catch out" the bastards.
cfcmagpies
Yep. Frankly it should make the cunt's position untenable. Go on Fat Mike, think of the positive PR of firing the speccie dwarf.
chicago_shearer
think of the positive PR He renamed the ground after his discount apparel chain, don't think PR is a big concern.

oldtype
I'm trying to be charitable about this here... Maybe he was just at a bar with some mates and mouthing off (as we all do when we're drunk) without thinking that somebody was listening in with a tape recorder? In any case, it's terrible publicity from the club. I hate that we're back to being the laughing stocks of England all over again.
Jayson
He just comes off as ruthless really from those comments. Which isnt always necessarily a bad thing if the right decisions are being made. But they could clearly give a f*** about us or anyone else. Gloating in public about people not understanding "how horrible" they can be, along with their previous history of being proven to lie. On top of going back on their previous word now with the stadium. Theyll do whatever they want to to achieve Ashleys end goal with no one else in mind, we just have to hope we'll recieve some benefit from it along the way. I hate that we're back to being the laughing stocks of England all over again. why should we be a laughing stock? the press are printing this garbage because they think they will get a big reaction from us, the toon army. and we are playing into their hands. every time! i personally don't give a damn what llambias has said because he isnt that far from the truth. whats the big controversy??? Keegan - absolutely correct Shearer - looks correct Hughton - not sure, may be correct, but calling him indecisive is hardly the worst thing ever Carroll - so far, correct the media always play with us like this, pull on our heart strings bacause they know easy it is to get an uproar reaction from our fans, they know we the most emotional and passionate fans out there, and i feel sick and tired of our gullable fans falling for it hook line and sinker everytime. can't we just bloody ignore that twat llambias and the press for once and just fukking carry own supporting our eleven men out on the field thats actually doing the business for us, its them that really matters, not derek or ashley. or the fukking press or any kunt that goes around recording peoples conversations. thomas
The big controversy is Liverpool will be less likely to buy Sammy Ameobi for £18m in the summer after he derided them in such a fashion.
Stu
Just been told from a lad off another forum; "ha, one of my best mates at uni is the one who unearthed the story. got paid a grand for the footage off the mirror. filmed it on his camera phone. was pissed as a fart in a casino right by st james' a few weeks back, sunday the 16th october i believe. possibly the night of the newcastle v spurs game. " Interesting name for a 'gastro-pub' almost as reliable as Dave's mirror article
Stu
Where are these quotes from? Did some bloke have a dictaphone or something? Dave reckons it happened in a gastro-pub. A friend of a friend of a friend (at uni) reckons he was the one filming DL in a casino after the Spurs match. Amazing that this footage hasn't been seen online in the past month, nor has the story been mentioned elsewhere (or even on here). Just happens to be published on an international break when there's not a lot to fill the back pages...
womblemaster
I think an appropriate response would be to burn all students, we could save the the city council a heap on there gas bill from lighting the street lamps over christmas....tie em to the lamposts and apply a match, the alchol pickled livers will go up quite nicely. WHos with me? `a friend (at uni) reckons he was the one filming DL `

Skirge
How long and how much more will we take this kind of idiot shit from him before we actually aim our anger at him ? I have not heard one anti-Lambias song ever being sang.
captainhaircut
Yes the guy is a cunt but why are people getting so annoyed at a story with zero substance written by a journo with no credibility.

Skirge
Far from classy, but you cannot fault the decisions and opinions. Its true he may be close to the truth but the man is an embarrassment to the club, in his position he should be able to conduct himself a in proper manner. All this go's towards proving how hard he must be to deal with on footballing matters such as new contracts and the signing of new players.
Ishmael
And obviously, he really shouldn't be discussing such internal decision making in the public and in such a way.
