toonpete1892 Posted December 18, 2011 Share Posted December 18, 2011 I was there for the Chelsea minutes applause a few weeks ago but was still struggling to sing the words to the first verse today. I ended up looking at 'Gary Speed - Legend' on the scoreboards in a world in my own whilst the rest was sang out, reflecting on the young memories I have of him. Weeks on and its still very emotional so well played to the Speed family for their attendence today, I hope the Geordie nation's tributes did them and him proud - Gary, you are, and will be, deeply missed!
