The ref was totally guessing, then looking sheepish, embarrassed and scared after he had blown the whistle. Lost all control of that game and looked miles out of his depth. Why should the lower leagues suffer? They are not up to the job, get rid of the fuckers. The amount of money rolling around in English football, and that the FA have, and you are telling me that we can’t train up anything better than what we have? Fuck off man. Rugby is a 2nd sport in this country with no real money in it, and they have nowhere near the refereeing controversy that we have in football. The officials were given the opportunity to show they’re up to the job without VAR and then they absolutely fucked it up beyond all recognition. Like I’ve said a few times, it’s like my lass letting me choose what time I come home from a couple of pints with my pals and then I get back home 3 days later full of cowies and bugle and a dose of an STD so I’m never, ever being trusted ever again.
