Probably irrelevant to the result. But the amount of time wasting by them, particularly in injury time, ball must have been in play for a max of 2-3 mins of that 9 mins injury time and he added on 15 seconds.

This offside rule is just a joke. Stop this crap about body shapes and just make it where the feet are

My take is you have to prove daylight - if you can’t - it’s a goal as you as you have something behind the final man

Is it just me or did it look like they did it a frame too late after the pass was made and even then it was like a slither of forehead. Fucking bullshit I thought. Nice goal chalked off just because.

Willocks head offside. The line drawn from VDVs shoulder

But these were drawn from halfway down the sleeve? The bottom one from Casemiros disallowed goal 5 mins ago

And what brings in this 5cm tolerance that allowed Wirtz goal to stand v Leeds?

Actually thought Taylor was pretty good tonight

Very rare you see two yellow cards for diving

Thought it was the best refereeing performance I've seen for ages. Got pretty much everything right, maybe letting a couple of small fouls go.

Backs up my first impression tbh. The defender's foot still looks closer to the line than Willock's head.

I couldn’t cope going back to pre-VAR. Losing Premier League games based on the shit we’ve seen in one half of fa cup football would tip me over the edge.

Their goal was a mile offside, no penalty for a clear foul on Barnes and no red for an awful foul for Digne. It's like the officials have forgotten they can make big callsc on their own (red card at the end aside, but that was impossible to ignore).

Not just the ref but both linesmen. Absolutely shameful performance from the officials tonight. They should be down to 9. Their goal shouldn't have stood, and we should have had a penalty. Unbelievable that the benefit of all those wrong decisions could go all in the favour of one team.

Everyone forgets just how atrociously bad English referees are until we get games like this.  VAR does a lot of covering for their fuckups.

I'm convinced Digne would have been sent off with VAR. The rules are pretty clear in that situation.
