Numbers
Larsson > Ben Arfa. FACT. Is it just me or has Larsson got a really annoying face? Like a punch me in the throat face.

LiquidAK
I'm happy enough him being our secret. Feel bad for him if he had a bad game, but meh, if it keeps him at Newcastle longer...
Joe_F
The only bit I saw when flicking over from the England torture was when he played a through ball for Ribery which didn't work and Ribery had a right go at him. Ugly bastard.

Ugly bastard. Ribery was giving the ball away left right and centre before that man, the fucking grotesque cunt that he is. Couldn't believe it when he got mad, him Nasri and Benzema were pass-wanking each other off and getting nowhere all night and barely using the right side at all. ujpest doza
Will definitely be watching the France match. Nothing seems more dull to me than this England match....or anything to do with the England team. ha ha serves you for being unpatriotic. Come on England! Aye must have been tactics from Blanc because Benny was playing a lot deeper and not as aggressive with his dribbling etc. Hanging round infield a lot more too but that was probably because he was desperate to get on the ball, he was feeding off scraps from the rest of the France team. Frustrating game for him but good to see him come off giving the manager a handshake, not displaying any of that petulance he's supposedly infamous for. Tooj
Seems to me he's playing within himself which might be a bi-product of him trying to make up for any past discretions as he knows the microscope is on him and he's trying to play it safer rather than suffer those past labels of not being a team player etc. It doesn't help him as well mind that the likes of Nasri and Ribery seem reluctant to pass to him and in the past he would maybe have lost his temper and tried to do things all by himself. Tiresias
He absolutely has to play wide. Do they even bother talking to the club about where he's been good?
madras
He absolutely has to play wide. do that and he's out the game too much if you mean wide in a midfield 4. playing him in a forward 3 or one of two off a lone forward gives him the opportunity to drift into space wherever it is. AyeDubbleYoo
4-4-2 doesn't really have an ideal place for him, our 4-3-3 was class.
Guest hatem garrincha
Poor game for Hatem who played too safe...one more time. Not a single acceleration tonight. Ok he's touched only 34 balls and France's game is on the left, but he didn't play at his level. I doubt we'll see him again in the tournament. Tonight, France can say a big MERCI to England. Tonight, France can say a big MERCI to England. Thought he did well to be honest. Its more the way that France plays that makes it almost impossible for them to score. There is absolutely no presence up front to hold up the ball. Players like Hatem and Nasri are the ones making a run in behind the defence, while Benzema drops too deep or too wide. Its too predictable and easy to defend against. Giroud needs to start for sure.
AyeDubbleYoo
Exactly, the fact the coach hasn't realised he needs a proper forward in the box is stupid. He can have as many stylish attacking midfielders as he wants, but he's not Spain, he won't win a tournament like that. Even Arsene Wenger eventually realised this. Giroud needs to start for sure. that was pointed out in their pre tournament friendlies, when benzema comes wide or drops deep, no-one takes that position. cabaye did for his goal but it's the first time i've seen any french player do it in about their last half dozen or so games. i was advocating benzema playing off giroud for that reason. Guest Spiria
French paper l'Equipe says that Wenger wants Benny at Arsenal. (Since that it can seems possible). After they say that Newcastle wants 16.9 m£ for Benny. Does Arsenal pay this price for any player ? xD

Tiresias
Bloody hell can see that much more than Chelsea, Wenger may well convince him he wants to build a team around him, and he'd fit right in. Still £16m is way too low. Should be able to fight them off...right...
