TRon
Anita and Santon were pure garbage. Both completely overwhelmed. Anita will be okay, no surprise he struggled really, he needs another quality midfielder in and around him. Santon on the other hand?! That dude is one effeminate mofo. Send his mum and her meatballs back to Italy if she's still there molly coddling him, and get him to grow some damn balls. What a soft sorry man he is, with his pansy blonde streaks in his damn head. Disgrace of a man. Anita just needs to play in a passing team, he's shown he's very good in that situation. If you are playing hoofball though, then a 5'4 midfielder isn't going to be much use. Find it difficult to criticise the likes of Anita and HBA today given the way the team was set up to play.

littlelunchbox
He's not playing well but he's been asked to do too much. He can't win games on his own. We simply aren't a solid enough team playing the attacking football needed for him to shine. Enough with the same excuses. Wonder why no other players in the team get the same slack as hba? If the player's name isn't hatem ben arfa and he loses the ball = he is s***. Hba does the same thing = he has no one to pass to. Black and white shirt players has a bad game = he's s***. Hba had a bad game = was ask to do too much.

Ah I saw loads of players lose the ball multiple times today and Santon and Benny are the only two who were singled out for it so you are talking through your hole
stoli
There was too much ball watching and a lack of composed energy today to put the blame on him. Agree that he goes missing too much, but he was also trying to do to much on his own as we were flat.
duo
Awful today and should have been off at HT. Kills me to say it as I love HBA Anita, Santon, Ameobi, Tiote, Taylor, Williamson, Debuchy, Sissoko were all miles worse than him Sissoko? As for Ben Arfa - what was he meant to do today? It was hoof ball for most the match with Shola barely winning a header. When we eventually moved him to the right the game was gone. That being said - he doesn't look 100% fit to me - defo carrying weight.
Mr. Snrub
Idiots expect HBA to be world class and win us matches single handedly, and when he doesn't he's instantly shite. He is by far our best player who has been managed disgustingly and used as a scapegoat by our cowardly cunt of a manager. How people can't see this is beyond me. I'm suprised he's still willing to put the shirt on.
Mick
Ben Arfa and Sammy were the best of a really s**** bunch today, still poor but not as bad as the others.
Stifler
He was always going to be ineffective today. So long as he's the only real attacking force we have then he's always going to be doubled/tripled up on. Yes he needs to learn to pass more but those who are blaming him for our poor performances need to take a reality check.

It's obvious he's been poorly managed, but it's also obvious that he's unfit, and makes poor decisions on the ball. Sissoko, Anita, were also shit today granted, but as Ben Arfa is our best player, and everyone knows it, so perhaps more is expected from him. His performance today was very poor, accept it and move on.

Guest Recoba
He is like one of those keepy up specialists Red Bull or Mcdonalds would hire for an advert. Thereis a reason he plays for us andno one has ever bid for him.

Darth Crooks
Let's lay the blame a little higher up methinks. Hard to look much further than the Wholly (shit) Trinity above the players.
TRC
HBA is the least of our worries. No players should get any blame everything is Pardew and Ashley's fault.
Exiled in Texas
The problem today for HBA was that the team was flat and static. So he was left facing one/two defenders face on with no movement around him. Made it very easy for Sunderland to defend against him.....HBA has always had his better games when the defense was off balance due to the movement around him. Newcastle were flat, static and without desire today. None of the players looked like they had played together before.

Ash
Jesus christ the defense of him on here, yes he is such a technically gifted player but he is a shocking footballer. Does not take match fitness to cross a fucking ball first time, it does not require 15 bastard step overs, no need to beat your man 10 times first. Tis s not his stage to show off, he is part of a team and he needs to fucking play like it. The odd wonder goal now and then does not mean he is a great player. How many times did he lose the ball today and just watch as a mackem cunt just trotted away from him with it, for their third he just dropped to the fkn ground man. If we can sell him and replace him with Cabella we should do it, ues I know all about of cunt of an owner and the real lack of possibility that could happen but still. So yeah come on jump all over this defend Benny the great, not saying he was the only one, I'm just getting started here. In response to a post saying HBA was fit for today: Get the fuck in Fickle as fuck.
Guest Howaythetoon
HBA clearly gave up towards the end of the first-half and who can blame him, no matter how he plays or what he does, he has never truly been given a starring role at this club under Pardew. He has been mismanaged by a piss poor manager. He was asked to play four positions today, under long-ball tactics. If that was me, I'd have walked off.
