The other games today - 2011/12

USA U23's up 4-0 on Cuba at half. Hate watching games against Cuba, they're always so bad and I feel bad for them. Really excited about the potential of this Olympic squad when we add three overage players, though.

Adu with a semi-goalazo

Madness to think that Adu is less than a year older than myself (by official American record anyway. I've grown five inches since 2003-4, while Freddy has only had his hairline recede. No one questions this because of his nationality). He has been in the spotlight so long that it is hard for me to think of him as a peer. I hadn't yet kissed a woman and he was playing against professional footballers. Has he shown anything in MLS? I really think he can make it in Europe if he adjusts his attitude towards the game.

2 goals in a minute at the start of the second half of Wolfsburg - Hamburg. 1-1.

Watched the first half and it was dreadful.  Both teams didn't look like they'd score if they played for 5 hours, then I turn off and this happens.

5th or 6th is the same imo so might as well go in hope of 4th. 5th is in our hands regardless of whether Chelsea win today.

Spurs win, man. We have no hope in hell of catching them.

this.

You say that but if Spurs lose and we win, we will be 4 points off them and 2 off Chelsea.

I've worded that bad. I mean if Spurs win we can pretty much forget 4th, but if Chelsea win we're still in the hunt for it and Chelsea are still in reach.
