NUFC transfer rumours in the press

Recommended Posts

Naples is possibly the worse/scariest places I've been.

The rubbish up the mountain tunnel "thing" was ongoing when we were there (6 or 7 years ago) and the generally mood was menacing.

Born and raised in a pit village where the blokes are generally fucking tough cunts. You get used to mixing and mingling with some right hard bastards but Naples was something else like.

Was born in the mid seventies in Belfast and grew up through the troubles and Naples still gave me the shits  :yao:

I'm going to Naples in May to see Springsteen. Only got two nights there though, off to Sorrento for five days afterwards. Having read the last few pages I'm glad we made that decision.

Isn't Rome a shithole as well?

I don't think it's too much worse than most major cities TBH, it's tainted by graffiti/litter/dog poo/cigarette buds and like every city has its grim areas. Still a beautiful place to visit though.

Napoli, now there's a shithole.

The last time I went to Naples, there was a taxi driver strike, in which they were refusing to pick up or drop off people at the airport.

I therefore had to walk out of the airport, and up a road, before I could get one. Exiting the airport, the very first thing I saw was an enormous dead rat, just lying there in the middle of the street. Weird.

Naples is a hole (google Naples refuse collection for an idea of the problems it has), but it is also an amazing city in many senses.

I went to see Napoli play Inter, and it was one of the best football experiences ever.

I've always wanted to go and see a Napoli home game I must admit. Their fans are quality. Also they remind me a bit of us (barring their more recent successes of course) but more due to feeling isolated from the rest of the country due to location.

Portuguese À Bola likning us to van Wolfswinkel. On my phone so cant give the actual link.

Sporting having a shocker arent they? Financially knackered and doing as bad as us in the League.

Is he any good?

Always looked very average when i have seen him. Not sure he would work well alongside Cisse either.

I think so, yes. But the article says they turned down €18m last summer.. Good player though.

Which means we can get him for less than 10...

... potatoes.

What's our club record for the most spent (without deducting outgoings) in a season on transfers?

That hideous Sourness window.

On YouTube he looks like he has good predatory instincts and composure. Does look like another lone striker.

Despite that when i have seen him he likes to drop deep a lot and play in behind the main striker and distribute, i think he would be good tbh.

Châteauroux striker Claudio Beavue will sign to Bastia today. (Beinsport) #SCB #Châteauroux

Could this free up for Thauvin leaving?

Hope so.
