NUFC transfer rumours in the press

Still think Fergie can be a good player for us, direct as hell and has a good cross on him. Just needs to work on other parts of his game and maybe bulk up a bit more.

Sammy not so much, think Championship is his level.

Neither will make it here as they've not been given the chance & it's probably too late for them given that they both need a full season under their belt. Get them out on season loans and then reassess/sell at the end would be my choice.

They should have been getting minutes when we doing well the season previous. Coming into a winning atmosphere bit by bit not coming in under pressure with other players of a similar stature to all be hung out to dry together unless they're deemed not good enough - if so why are they still here? I actually thought the way Bigi was used was encouraging but generally our attitude to youth development (Krul & Carroll aside & it was easier to do it in the Championship) has been comic for a long time.

But if Fergie is to play he needs to be used on his strenghts...

He need to get higher up in the pitch, my impression is that he is direct all the time. Needs to smarten up a bit, and we need players in the box...

But fair enough, give him one more season. But Sammy? Agree, one season in the Championship. Make or brake. He needs to get the endproduct...

Another season of loans would be of benefit to both as at least they'll get games. Ferguson by all accounts was impressive at Birmingham.

Agreed Ferguson needs to more advanced to get the best out of him, his delivery is very decent imo. Just think Sammy is canny clueless when he has the ball, attempting endless dribbles with no end product.

Really hope we're still in for Aubameyang if we've got that much to spend on a striker. Not overly impressed by Bony, especially since it would probably signal a formation change to 4-4-2, but would obviously prefer him to Bent.

big, strong target man who plays the free role off the second striker and regularly uses his pace and agility to beat the offside trap.

Sounds just like Shola . . . .

The only things there that could apply to shola are 'big ', 'man' and 'striker'.
