NUFC transfer rumours in the press

£8m for someone who looked very good in the Championship is ridiculous, mind.

£4-5m is probably about right, the difference between that and the £8m is the ole English premium.

Can't see us going in for him at £8 million unfortunately. Redmond's available for £2 million though, we should go for him.

Redmond has always impressed me whenever I've seen him play so would not mind him here at all. Would still prefer Ince mind but I guess £8 million is much too steep.

£2m for Nathan Redmond would be a good signing.

Seems like a no-brainer. He is proven in that league so if he doesn't make the step up we could easily get that money back.

And has played in the Europa League, this is the difference between Redmond and say Ferguson/Sammy. He has played nearly 75 league games.

Give a me Will Hughes, Hatem Ben Arfa and some hard drugs and we'll have a great season.

We paid £6million for Dyer, back in 1998.

Under Ashley, we've been conditioned to believe we cannot ever spend more than 8 million on any one player, let alone a youngish one with some potential to fulfill. Got to remember back then 6 million would probably buy you twice as much as in today's football players' market.

Definitely. It was a huge fee for an unproven lad (at that time)
