Guest bimpy474
£8m is too much for Ince. It's no wonder we go abroad.

Guest
Can't see us going in for him at £8 million unfortunately. Redmond's available for £2 million though, we should go for him.
Pilko
£8m for someone who looked very good in the Championship is ridiculous, mind. £4-5m is probably about right, the difference between that and the £8m is the ole English premium.
Dokko
£8m for Ince makes £7m For Mccunt look a great deal.

Redmond has always impressed me whenever I've seen him play so would not mind him here at all. Would still prefer Ince mind but I guess £8 million is much too steep. Pilko
£2m for Nathan Redmond would be a good signing.
GeordieDazzler
It's all went quiet on the Will Hughes front, we were strongly linked a few weeks ago
Cajun
£2m for Nathan Redmond would be a good signing. Seems like a no-brainer. He is proven in that league so if he doesn't make the step up we could easily get that money back.

He has played nearly 75 league games.

Big Geordie
£8m for someone who looked very good in the Championship is ridiculous, mind. We paid £6million for Dyer, back in 1998.

Unbelievable
£8m for someone who looked very good in the Championship is ridiculous, mind. We paid £6million for Dyer, back in 1998. Under Ashley, we've been conditioned to believe we cannot ever spend more than 8 million on any one player, let alone a youngish one with some potential to fulfill. Got to remember back then 6 million would probably buy you twice as much as in today's football players' market.

It was a huge fee for an unproven lad (at that time)
Disco
Dyer was in the England squad at Ipswich though. Would be more comparative to JJ and we paid £5m for him. Can't remember many bitching about that at the time.

Ketsbaia
£8m is more than Redmond but less than Zaha. More than Cabaye but less than Luque - we could play this game all night. I don't think £8m is that bad tbh, there's been worse.
Mole_Toonfan
Still don't understand the hype behind Redmond. Average at best in my opinion.
