As a young lad he will have bad spells such as now, he needs a few games out to regain confidence, unlike now where his confidence is taking a battering playing poorly in a poor team. Aye, its why i said proper LB, i'm not having Fergie is a proper one, he's a good winger who can do a job there. Call me old fashioned but i like a defender who sniffs out the danger before it happens, covers properly with good positioning. Ashley doesn´t do "competition for places". Well they do(ish) but they want them to be young un's, not a bad strategy if your young un's are good enough. Which ours are clearly not.
