Guest Phil K

Like a new signing.

You've been reading Ashley's instructions for Pardoo to vomit up for the public, haven't you ?

Social media has had a massive part to play in this U-Turn in my eyes... That picture left him no wriggle room...

"Wriggle room" - love it !  :cheesy:

Best Gif ever!

That Zlatan's brother?

Chris Ecclestone isn't it ? Bit far removed from his baddie in THOR 2.....

Very happy we are keeping Cisse and sorted this out. Don't give a fuck anymore now, just put it to bed. No reports of any official bids for him so I don't believe it was to force a move.

We still need more strikers, better get signing them. Shola needs to have his contract terminated immediately, I'm not fooled by the recent friendly goals and I'm sure none of us our.

until we know what the compromise is I'd still be very wary. doubt he's just backed down.

Why not? he's made his point, and he's also been made aware that as an employee he has certain obligations to the club that pays his wages too. A compromise is the logical solution assuming the player wants to stay here. If he wanted to leave he'd probably not have compromised at all.

well, we'll see.

hey, anyway, thats what i'm saying, a compromise, i doubt that means he's just decided to back down.

This is only resolved because the casino photos have made his "stance" completely untenable and shown it to be nothing more than a blatant and groundless attempt to engineer a move.

So whilst he's been forced to back down over this because he was starting to look stupid, let's not kid ourselves that the underlying issues have suddenly vanished, because they won't have.

Agreed, let's pretend that the PFA working to try and sort things out have had nothing to do with a change of mind, let's put it down to the photo's.

The photos won't have done much other than cause him some personal embarrassment. There was already a lot of work going on behind the scenes to come to a solution so I agree. Cisse had already released information through friends that he didn't want to leave and it was in the chronicle before any photos were circulated.

I think Cisse will have been looking for a way out.  The Muslim Council moaned, he's reacted and made a bit of a stand, he's been given a way out and taken it.

"Like a new signing" is coughed up so often it makes me cringe, was looking on twitter earlier when the news broke and the amount of people saying it...fucking hell.

Tbh people can kick off about this all they like but our track record for leaving ourselves short at the expense of a few quid is there for all to see. Every chance it could have happened again, so it is effectively like a new signing.
