There is a chance they draw their next two home games and that still leaves them in some danger. I am going to predict a 0-0 for tomorrow, but wouldn't be surprised with 1-0 win for either team in what will probably be a scrappy game.

I will forgive* Michael Owen if he for some reason gets on and scores against these.

Given the way his mind works I wouldn't be surprised if he actually tried harder if some NUFC fans sent him nice tweets.

Of course, he'd have to actually get off the bench to do that :yao:

They are in just as much danger as we are, Stoke are hitting form again and Sunderland haven't won a monday night game for 11 years is it? Means fuck all but I'd like that to continue, they have Southampton and Spurs after that which are very tricky games. It would make up for a horrendous season if we managed to stay up at the expense of these daft cunts.

For me, there are some statistics that are helpful and some are just irrelevant coincidences. Their Monday night run is the latter, I'd say. It doesn't make them less likely to win.

All ifs and buts but here's another possible scenario involving the unwashed actually winning both of their home games.

Sunderland beat Stoke and Southampton

Spurs beat Stoke

NUFC beat QPR

would mean NUFC are safe seeing as Stoke and Southampton play each other last match of the season.

That'll do me, like!

11 years. What a pointless statistic.

More pointless than your post?

Nope, my post pointed out that it was pointless, therefore had a point.

Worthless post is probably more apt then, my apologies.

Only as worthless as the statistic I'm commenting on tbf.

Don't bother. I tried with the best possible permutation regarding results/league standings before the West Ham game and we ended up with one of the worst.

Just taking things as they come now, one at a time. Plenty of twists up til the last matchday.
