Hanshithispantz
They should have stuck with that, sounds much classier than bloody newcastle. I mean it's downright embarrassing to tell ang bugger youre flying back to newcastle. They just cannot help it But yeah, how the world will laugh when you reveal "I'm flying back to Newcastle", tears will literally be streaming down their faces. Ted Maul
It pisses them off that we picked a manager off the scrap heap and without spending so much as a penny led us to a better league finish than they have had in over 50 years. It winds them up something terrible. When you put it like that it really makes me think about the turnaround here, unbelievable we're in this position just over a year and a half after we made what even pretty much every single one of us thought was a baffling appointment. Really making me savour this all the more when I consider that we could just as easily have been languishing near the bottom of the Championship. DJ_NUFC
It's not just Sunlan fans but a lot of footie fans seem to be pretty retarded. My gooner mate keeps telling me each time I'm singing praises of Parder, "you're such a sell-out mate, you were moaning when he got appointed." Is one of the pre-requisites of being a footie fan being able to tell the future and react accordingly? Bizarre logic.

Bizarre logic. have you tried the sentence "I was wrong, he has proved me wrong as opposed to me just defending him as he is the manager of my team" on him ? bhoywhonder
He's our manager so they're basically just making up some detestable personality for him and going with it, they seem to do that kind of thing a lot. Yep. The RTG echo chamber effect: 1: Invent lie 2: Repeat lie (many times) 3: Lie becomes fact 4: Accept 'fact' 5: Repeat 'fact' Too many examples to mention, but lets go with Hatem Ben Awful, Cabaye=shit, Santon=shit, Pardew's casino debt, Catts for me like, Tiote=thug, N'Zogbia nailed on, 'Jawdee Nashun', Ponteland airport, Mag at Work, NETD, etc etc etc. On the plus side.....mackems ;D ;D ;D

Chris_R
Question is, would Jenas move to an even smaller goldfish bowl than Newcastle?
Pilko
If we're the goldfish bowl, the mackems are the little plastic bag, after you manage to knock a pyramid of tin cans off a shelf with a little ball.
Mr. Snrub
Question is, would Jenas move to an even smaller goldfish bowl than Newcastle? If we're the goldfish bowl, Sunderland is the sewer the fish ends up after its flushed down the toilet.
Greg
He would live in Newcastle, back to the goldfish bowl just he would get loads more abuse.
Chris_R
More abuse? When he came back for Spurs and was 1-on-1 with Given and fluffed it, he got dogs abuse. Fucking ripped him to shreds. And tbh, I think that was the turning point in his career, he's been shite since then really.

And tbh, I think that was the turning point in his career, he's been s**** since then really. Not being daft, but hasn't he always been cowardly and s****? Well indeed, but that game shattered him as a player, IMO. Though it was years ago so maybe I'm just seeing things as I want them to (Disclaimer before Ronaldo stomps in post-google search to pretend he remembers every game since then and can list 3 games where Jenas played well)

And tbh, I think that was the turning point in his career, he's been s**** since then really. Not being daft, but hasn't he always been cowardly and s****? no, his first season and a bit here he was very good and showed massive potential. he was brought in to be a kind of conductor, didn;t have to be a crunching tackler if he could read the game, his game was to be the one who keeps things ticking, same reason for buying viana then and anita now. Chicken Dancer
Getting themselves very excited about the possible Johnson signing on RTG, few people acting ITK sending PMs round Be fucking hilarious if they didn't sign him.
wormy
What on earth is the point of them signing Jermaine Jenas on loan? A player who hasnt played consistently well for nearly ten years. Crazy that it's so long ago. Think it's the fact he looks so deceptively young, he's one of those that I still seem to picture as a 23 year old trying to fulfill his potential. How the fuck has he managed to last at Spurs for 8 years now!?
Chris_R
Jenas has allegedly made 21 appearances for England I knew he'd been capped, but 21 times? Fuck off. Crazily, that's the same number as Rob Lee and Jenas is still in his 20s. Crazy, the world's gone fucking crazy.
Guest VegasToon
So lets assess their latest tabloid targets: - Adam Johnson has 4 better options and therefore wouldn't go anywhere near Sunderland. - Danny Rose is nothing. Jermaine Jenas would be like Christmas and New Year rolled into one. - Clint Dempsey, a man that wants European football and his career's only big payday, will not take a massive step down to join a team that provides none of these. - Wilfried Zaha might be realistic but buying young English players normally works out well, doesn't it Mr Wickham? - Dimitar Berbatov has experienced Sunderland in away games. Why would he voluntarily go back there? Luckily for Sunderland, their more realistic targets like Heskey and Owen are still available TBF Owen is not realistic. Sima
Pardew may be many thing, but at least he is not an I.R.A. apologist. Better than that, he's never claimed to have supported Sunderland either unlike Martin McGuinness O'Neill I'm stealing this to use on RTG.
