midds
They'll stay up. I think they'll beat Everton - I know they never beat them but history didnt stop them yesterday did it? Yeah, yesterday will be a little springboard for them imo. They got one monkey off their back on Sunday and could well do it again at this weekend. Scoreboard82
I think they'll stay up, but hopefully the same thing will happen to them that happened to us when Shearer had his similar spell in charge. Ironically I think his 1st game in charge was v Chelsea too. We beat Boro soon after then I think we only got 1 more point from our other games. Skeletor
We scored 4 goals under Shearer. 3 of them in that match. Grim stuff.
nobby_solano
was having a chat with one of my mates at work and he was saying that one of his mates is a sunderland fan and fears they might have peaked with the derby result and that di canio might not be able to fire the players up as much for the rest of the matches, much like shearer did against 'boro in our relegation season. i hadn't really thought about it but he might have a point, of course all his other mackem mates disagree and want him tarred and feathered
loki679
They're going to be telling our great great grandchildren in the year 2120 "3-0, marra. I still think they're going to get 0 points the next 2 games. Everton always seem to do well against sunlan', and I think Villa will beat sunlan' to make sure they stay up. We could aswell though. Flip
Would be so great if they still went down It would and I mean, a loss to Everton and Villa and they might be in so deep trouble. At the same time, so might we in two games.
GuyP
tbh after the win over us, they probably wont care. They will think "lets go down, enjoy a year in the championship and come back even stronger with our amazing manager marra". If they did go down, they would find it infinitely harder than we did. Also, my mate who is removed from the whole rivalry did say "to be honest, forget the fascism, he is a League 1 manager" and this should be remembered to be fair. I think they will stay up though (as usual, 50% of the league is gash)
Mattoon
On one hand would love them to go down, on the other would like the opportunity to exact our revenge for the embarrassing shambles we witnessed on Sunday. Hopefully after Pardew gets replaced!

AyeDubbleYoo
I really think people are getting carried away over how good PDC will be for them, the level of optimism is crazy. Give it a couple of weeks and a defeat or two and let's look at it again.

Superior Acuña
I honestly think he'll be a shit manager. New manager boost and a mentalist psyching players up for a derby does not suggest to me he's going to be a good manager.
