Guest gggg
So shortlist 2 Poyet - won't pay for him Curbishley - turned them down again McDermott - thinks he's better off at Reading I'd hate to see the backup backup list. They should have a lottery.
ponsaelius
Maybe they should have just stuck with Mick.
BlueStar
He's going to be odds on for the job at this rate.
Ashley17
Looking at oddschecker just now, Bruce still favourite, with Walter Smith in second. Sucks to be Wolves
Ameritoon
Maybe they should have just stuck with Mick. If they've failed to get Curbishley twice, then yes, they definitely should've stuck with him. That shortlist of managers was horrendous enough, can't imagine what it looks like after getting turned down.

JH
It's a sad state of affairs when you sack a manager and the best candidate to replace him is himself

oldtype
Reminds me of how we offered the job to Venables on a temporary basis. If he turns them down, it's Kinnear time!
AyeDubbleYoo
Presumably this is why Mick lasted so long in the first place. They're a pretty shit club heading for a relegation, it's going to be difficult to get a quality manager... especially if they want someone who's already proven. madras
i'm not normally one for predicting scores but i think this could be one where we give the oppo a pounding. wouldn't be surprised with 3 or 4 clear.
NG32
Seems the board/owner had a crunch on for a sacking with no back up plan...crazy really. AS or Wolves, they're a pretty big club historically and they always get canny crowds in. Im not sure how much money they have to spend on transfers but surely its a better job then fucking Wigan, that Bruce grabbed with both hands. Personally I think Wolves have the potential to be a perm prem club. Next management decision is MASSIVE for them.
