Suspected heart attack on the pitch, received treatment, carried off on a stretcher, matched abandoned, rushed to hospital. maybe_next_year Posted March 17, 2012 Share Posted March 17, 2012 went out for a meal for mothers day a couple of hours ago when it looked like it was too late for him, so oddly, coming home and finding him stable is pretty good news, compared to what i was expecting. hope he recovers okay, thoughts with his fiance and kid, must of been horrific for them too. Hope he can recover swiftly, horrible, horrible thing to happen to anyone let alone at his age. Unfotunately likely to cut short a very promising career. Sad day. Unfortunately sometimes when a heart attack happens if the patient survives then they can often suffer from more hearts attacks not long afterwards. My nana actually died that way, she had more than one heart attack (3 in total I believe). Not only that but they will have to find the reason why he had a heart attack and fix whatever the problem was. It is good news that he is a stable condition though and by the sounds of it he is being treated by Dr's who are some of the very best Cardiologists. Just spoken to a doctor who said they 'basically breathe for you, because you can't yourself' and 'people who are on them are as ill as you can possibly get'.
