Mick
They couldn't afford to sack him never mind afford to appoint a new manager. I thought they gave him a new contract?
S.S.R.
So Shearer has himself a management job lined up.. Nah, Blackburn would be stupid to go for Shearer. They've already got someone who can relegate a team - why look for another?
Zach
Kean might have had more of chance if the fans didn't boo him all game. The guy is completely deluded. So, that wasn't my point. He hardly stood a chance with the abuse he got. Venky's should never have sacked Fat Sam, but having your own fans berate you makes it seriously hard for any team. I mean, they booed Yakubu for a game for celebrating a goal with Keane. They are at fault as much as Keane is.

Dokko
They couldn't afford to sack him never mind afford to appoint a new manager. I thought they gave him a new contract? They did, then weeks later stated they couldn't afford a managerial change.
wormy
They couldn't afford to sack him never mind afford to appoint a new manager. I thought they gave him a new contract? Yup. Went a step further than the 'vote of confidence' and tied him down to prove their commitment.
Toon Hoser
Venkys will put the club in to administration. Venky's an unmitigated disaster for Blackburn. See you whenever, Rovers.

It's scary mismanagement. No idea how they managed to make enough money to buy the club in the first place.
Guest Craig-NUFC
http://www.sportingintelligence.com/2012/01/15/blackburn-exclusive-the-letter-that-proved-rovers-were-in-crisis150101/ Letter from the board to the Venky's sent a year ago. Basically making the point that Venky's are going about their business acting like they know best whilst not consulting the board on anything (in the case of the letter, the appointment of Kean). Sporting Intel also made the point tonight that Kean has no input on transfers and that Venky's are buying players based on what agents are telling them. They even signed the son of an agent who isn't even playing for the reserves. Also something dodgy with Formica about a third party ownership of him prior to him signing for Blackburn, but SI aren't allowed to say who it is. Without knowing anything about them they were probably born into the 30% that have money as opposed to the 70% who work as slaves.

Tiresias
The mismanagement was huge but still think the fans turned on the team unacceptably, should have got behind the team way more, and at times they weren't that bad a team, but must have felt home games were worse than away games. Team needed getting behind, and they could well have scraped some more points this season than they did. Still the blame has to fall on appalling management by the owners.
