James
If the window opens 1st January...it opens the 1st January. Regardless of bank holidays. Nope they extend the transfer window if there is a weekend on the last two days of January or August. They don't work weekends or bank holidays. Dave
Aye, it's bollocks that. Otherwise it'd open on the 2nd every year and that's not the case in the FA handbook.
Nobody
Was talking to a Lille fan yesterday, he reckoned Debuchy has been canny this season as well and was gutted that they are selling him. Strangely enough he didn't hate us, was quite okay with us taking their best players. He did think Cabaye should be at a bigger club though.

LoveItIfWeBeatU
I wonder if he has spent any time learning how to speak English? It would be useful and would show that he thought he'd eventually get the move he wanted.
pi_D
L'Equipe's Ligue 1 team of 2012: Sirigu; Debuchy, Silva, Yanga-Mbiwa, Tremoulinas; Mavuba, Matuidi; Nene, Valbuena, Hazard; Ibrahimovic.
Rich
I am frothing at the gash to see this lad in our colours and bombing down the right. Also hope he gets the number 12 shirt, not having a RB wearing 7.

Aye him coming in for Simpson quite frankly is like when Barca got rid of Oleguer for Alves..... obviously Alves is a lot better but like him Debuchy will provide an extra dimension to the team that we haven't had in donkeys years. Words cannot explain how important this is.

Guest Phil K
We just need to quickly get points on the board. Get to 41 points and then think about style of play, who's in who's out or whatever. Safety is everything due to appalling defeats due to even more appalling defending and (what I find incredible) lack of fitness Lets not expect too much of Debuchy too soon. Having a decent season so far, but is still a little raw. Has shone in a Lille team that has been crap for the most of the season.
