Santon, Mapou and Colo were in their correct positions.... they did zero wrong but Debuchy decided he wanted to be next to Anita in midfield. Leaving a massive gap for Brady to exploit which Mapou tried to cover but couldn't get there. 2nd goal there is a massive gap between Mapou and Debuchy.... Mapou is where he should be but Debuchy is like 10 yards apart when he should be 5 yards apart where they scored to head it away. As for the 3rd goal he wasn't solely to blame but he is part of the blame.... his attempts to deal with the wing play and cross was f*cking awful even Hatem did a better job at tracking the runner than he did. He jogged with his man until the 18 yard line, looked at him and then slowed down. I love the lad but he isn't immune from criticism, he fucked up badly for that goal. Debuchy had a shit game, in fact he has only had one good game for us since he arrived, stop making excuses for him that don't exists. You are all quick enough to slag off Cisse when half the time he's unlucky with deflections and shit service but as soon as Cabaye and Debuchy do wrong this board goes all defensive over them. The sad thing is that we didn't even consider trying to keep him, depth and competition for places makes everyone better (especially with the defense).
