themanupstairs
Remy is the smokescreen for this year's Cisse. Charlie Austin.
Segun Oluwaniyi
Imagine if we signed Erdinc. I think the world would collapse in on itself. He was sold for 8 million euro (I think) less than one year ago and is inferior to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Loic Remy.
Guest Slippery Sam
Sure I just saw him going into The Arcade chippy in Whitley. Then again, it could have been Jonny Dekker as the sun was in my eyes at the time.
Skirge
Mark Douglas @MsiDouglas Would expect Remy resolution before the weekend. Mole_Toonfan
Going back to the quote that (according to the Journal) Remy made about preferring to go to Germany, the only thing I can see on L'Equipe's website is from yesterday saying that we are his preferred choice (and it mentions nothing about German clubs). I reckon someone's picked up a false quote. Here's said article: http://www.lequipe.fr/Football/Actualites/Remy-prefere-newcastle/340812 I have not seen anything concrete but there's a lot of people around the internet on various forums including OM forums saying that Remy quote was fake but until i see confirmation i can't really say either way. I'm not bothered about it anyway, the thing that annoys me is how long we are taking and i'm getting genuinely concerned now that we will buy Debuchy and that's it

LFEE
I think things will become a little clearer come Sunday as OM have a game so whether he plays or not might hint at how far down the road the deal is...
AlanSkÃrare
Surely we can't be pursuing a player that's not interested in coming. I'm sure the club have an idea whether they can get him to move here or not. Then again, we chased Gameiro for three months only for him to turn us down. Resolution by the weekend is vital. We need to sort this quickly. The Reading/Villa games are HUGE.
Fiftynotout
Surely if he just didn't want to come, he would have said so - just like he told QPR apparantly. So he must. at least, be a bit interested.

Skirge
If he was indeed the player we targeted as Ba's replacement then we have to wonder what is causing the delay, fee or player or are we now not sure he is the one.
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
The delay is simply caused by those at our end not being fucking arsed about if and when we get a reacement in. Simple as.

I think most people would like our 'marquee' signing to play in the 3 massive games we've got coming up if possible or not going into these games without replacing 50% of our goals. Short-termism is always going to be king amongst football fans, you know that be it right or wrong.

Mole_Toonfan
Just asked a mate of mine who supports OM about why its taken us this long to put an offer in and said this... Remy was looking at other clubs and Newcastle didn't want their offer shopped around. Now they're the top option for Remy and they decided to put in the offer... He is just a random person mind so take it with a pinch of salt, but found it interesting if it is indeed the case.
