STM
Maybe, but we shouldn't. Move on, please.
Skeletor
I rate him as a player but this might be the start of him becoming Woodgate-esque with his injuries. Much rather have Aubameyang now.
McCormick
You would have thought they'd have enough quality to see off Southampton and Villa tbh. Looked at the squad the other day and it doesn't lack quality (except perhaps in some positions); and has so many options... Cesar Onuoha Samba Ben Haim Traore JSP Mbia Hoillet Granero Taraabt Mackie It's actually quite fun tinkering with their massive squad and I don't even know if that's their best team tbh, but it looks strong enough to stay up. Ishmael
That midfield is very poorly balanced.
AyeDubbleYoo
Their defence is rank, and their team as a whole seems to lack any sort of cohesion. They are relying on Taraabt, one of the most unpredictable players in the league. I never believed Harry had much of a chance of keeping them up, fair play to him if he manages it. Ishmael
If only their scouting system wasn't the mere whims of the gaffer scrawled onto the back of a Starbucks napkin. Vidic a target ffs Given a few days, even I could have compiled a much better list of targets for £25m.
Mole_Toonfan
Hoilett hardly plays, JSP is over the hill, Mbia is a CB playing in midfield, Granero is another midfielder who is all style but no substance and quite frankly i don't rate him. So basically they are relying on Taarabt to provide the spark..... honestly if they stay up they should give Julio Cesar a medal because he will be the reason they do it. Said it for a while now but i'll be very surprised if they stay up and the Remy injury means they have little to no cutting edge which gives me even more confidence they won't stay up. LRD
Quite surprised Hoilett has barely got a look-in this season. He was one of the star performers in a poor Blackburn side and there was keen competition for his signature last summer. Seems it has all fallen to pieces for him. toontownman
Maybe the project of championship football appealed to him.

Mole_Toonfan
On Hoilett i think Sewelly was right in what he said about him in the summer. ( can't remember the exact words) In a nutshell he's a very talented footballer but lacks brain and any idea what the word "Team" means. When you look at it like that its not that surprising he's been out in the cold.

Another one I'm glad we missed out on. Find it strange that he knows he isn't gonna get much of a chance for the rest of the season and yet refused to go to WBA on loan. The guy doesn't have his priorities set right.

toontownman
Thought he had been injured? Fernando Fernandes came out a few days ago saying he was a big part of their future and needs a run in the team.
LRD
I thought they refused to let him go. Nah, he refused to go on loan. Think Redknapp pretty much confirmed that.
Dokko
People have read speculation that there is an escape clause in Remy's contract and have automatically assumed he is allowed to leave for free, probably because that was the clause Ba had with West Ham. There is absolutely no reason to believe this is the case with Remy though. so you are just speculating there isn't one.

ponsaelius
Yeah it was never mentioned that there's a termination clause like Ba's IIRC, sounded more like there might be a buy-out clause built in on relegation. Thing is if he's injured/shit during his time then there is no guarentee anybody comes in for him, and if they do whats to say he doesn't just sit there on his exorbitant wages anyway? Shush
Do find it hilarious that Remy is injured for 2 months. Does feel a bit like football Karma.

ponsaelius
Do find it hilarious that Remy is injured for 2 months. Does feel a bit like football Karma. Has this definitely been confirmed yet btw? The length of the injury. Anyway the funniest bit about it is that they loaned out Cisse, plus failing to sign Crouch and Odemwingie. If he is injured they're in a worse position than when they started the window.

AyeDubbleYoo
I don't think just choosing QPR over us would accrue any bad karma TBH. Misery and relegation, aye.
ponsaelius
Keep forgetting they've got aging ex-Fulham crocks Zamora and Johnson sitting around nursing injuries somewhere too.
