I honestly don't know what your obsession with this is but I can assure you I wouldn't be hurt if a player wasn't interested in going to a World Cup, I'd think him an idiot and a very rare case though. What about the players that quit international early to prolong their club careers? A player that puts his bank balance and career before World Cup. Yeah that is really rare. Does not make them a bad person and very understandable I say. That does not mean they don't want to go the World Cup my friend , it's just about their priorities. Staying in the Championship for £15k extra per week wouldn't be Remy putting his career ahead of the World Cup, it would be damaging his career purely for a few extra quid. Won't do him too much harm at all the wage packet would soften the blow, don't forget many of our own players have done it, it hasn't harmed colo's international prospects that much I don't think or his club career. The loan deal is actually quite a clever idea on our part which would get things moving. For all the stick we are giving the player recruitment team, this shows some canny thinking. The deal is currently hinging on two points. Newcastle and QPR are yet to agree if the Magpies will have to pay all of Loic Remy’s wages or not for next season and a buy out clause has not been agreed so far. Finally, we have no confirmation whether or not Loic Remy has given the green light for this deal.
