The College Dropout
I don't buy this "mercenary" stuff but when he was here he seemed to have an air of "aloof"ness about him. But of course he was passing through. He's had that air whenever i've seen him. That's the only thing I don't like.
The College Dropout
Wouldn't suit Leicester imo.
Teasy
Can't see Chelsea accepting £7.6m, so Leicester would have to up that offer.
TRon
No brainer for Remy, you would think. Depends on how badly he wants to start every week. He could just stay at Chelsea if he just wanted to pick up a large pay packet. If he wants to start every week he'll choose us over Leicester. Cronky
I don't buy this "mercenary" stuff but when he was here he seemed to have an air of "aloof"ness about him. But of course he was passing through. He's had that air whenever i've seen him. That's the only thing I don't like. There was an element of the big star who was just passing through. I felt at times he was a bit greedy, trying things himself when releasing the ball was the better option. But he has the basic strength and athletic qualities you need in a main striker, even though I think his technical limitations have prevented him from making it at a really top club. He'll definitely do for us.

I meant give him a choice out of all the clubs knocking about that aren't Chelsea, of whoever comes sniffing around him permanently - he'd only go where the money is as he's done his whole time in England. Seems reasonable, 15 or so years for a footballer's career, he doesn't really have an allegiance to any English clubs. Play, get paid, get called a mercenary when comparatively he hasn't done much wrong...c'est la vie.
Shearergol
Colback and Dummett would never follow the money. We need more shitehawks like them in the team!

Again, if he's just bothered about money he'd probably just stay at Chelsea. I'm pretty sure he wants a move so he can get more playing time.
Stottie
We're miles behind Leicester as a team but could maybe offer more playing time. And more money.

Hanshithispantz
If Leicester bought him he'd start every game, he's better than Vardy. They played 4-4-2 quite a bit earlier in the season iirc, think they might have switched up recently I haven't been paying attention.
AyeDubbleYoo
You mean with Vardy right?
Wullie
Think you could quite easily put together a team of players from various mid-table Premier League teams who are "better" than the ones in Leicester's team, but would be very dangerous to upset the apple cart at this point. The whole point is that they are a splendid team, and much better than the sum of their parts. I certainly wouldn't want a character like Remy replacing Vardy when the chips are down. Hanshithispantz
I think he'd play both but if he was opting for just one he'd go Remy I'd imagine. Remy & Mahrez could play on the wings if he goes 4-3-3 too if he drops Albrighton.
Hanshithispantz
I get that like but it's not going to last forever, they'll have to replace them if they're to continue this into next season (or even until the end of the season).
AyeDubbleYoo
You would sign Remy and drop Vardy?
Hanshithispantz
I've never said I'd drop Vardy. I'm not sure what I'd do but if Leicester signed Remy I think he'd be starting every game.
TRon
Leicester are signing Eder anyway aren't they? I think these Remy links are bullshit tbh.

Tsunami
I don't see how Remy would fit into Leicester's starting 11, they are all about teamwork and effort. He'd be spending most of his time on the bench. Leicester really don't want to upset the apple cart, Remy would be a risk.
