:anguish: who cares man FFS.

I'm as bile filled as they come but what is it these days and how everyone must out-goad each other when it comes to barely relevant individuals.

Can't say I'm dissatisfied with this, just concretes the fact we didn't just dodge a bullet, we dodged a mortar shell with this one, certainly wouldn't swap him for what we got in his place and think Cisse will come good with the added quality he has around him now. So long as he stays fit its a win/win!

Goes well with Disco's new, jaded and cynical tone.

Looks like qpr rushed him, just like they are doing with samba, but at least he hasn't been carrying injuries all season long. Big gamble and obviously hasn't paid off, but not that Arry really cares, it's all in for him and fuck the long term consequences. Fernandes is of the same ilk and he'll just walk away when it's over, move on to his next hobby, probably horse racing or casinos.

Remy put his career in the hands of these jokers, sold by a game of fifa, what a bellend.

Pardew gets a lot of stick for being cautious but he wouldn't have risked Remy if there were doubt. `Arry will blame luck rather than judgement.

I missed the whole fifa saga?, anyone give me a quick breifing so im no longer confused?

He played Fifa with their owner, was so impressed that he signed for them.

The wages were a secondary of course.

Fernandes is a part owner of QPR...how will be just walk away? Unless he can get someone else to buy his shares then he is stuck with them.

'Arry can walk away because he is an employee and can just cut his ties to the club. But an owner would have to find someone to to buy his shares in the club.

He paid £35m for a 66% stake, he'll easy get his start up fee back. How the club is financed is of some debate, but he's a businessman, he won't be spending his own money*, he's not that daft?

* I may be wrong here, just going off what people are saying, if you've any info I'd be grateful to hear it, quite interested in how they are setup. :)

I think it is his own money, and he'll have no choice but to write it off. I can't see how any bank or other source of finance would lend the club that sort of dosh, not in this climate, and he himself has said that the club is not in debt.

In that interview, he talks about it being an investment, in the same way as a certain amount of capital is needed to start up a car or airline business. What he neglects to consider is that a large number of car dealerships and airlines go bust - sometimes big time - and that it's far more difficult to run a football club at a profit. In fact, it's near impossible, because you're competing against other clubs whose owners are prepared to subsidise their losses, to a greater or lesser extent.

QPR's next 5 games

Swansea (a)

Man Utd (h)

Southampton (a)

Mackems (h)

Aston Villa (a)

That's basically all their fixtures for Feb & March, they may be lucky to get a point from those 5, reckon they will struggle to stay  up tbh.

Tbf we all thought the same since the turn of the ear but they've had 2 very good draws against Man City and Spurs. Julio Cesar has been class. It'll be plenty of draws on their way to safety.

Hope to be proven wrong of course.

I was thinking that but then they drew with Norwich too.  Draws aren't good enough, they need to win games like Norwich home as the teams around them are (apart from Villa). Gaps too big for draws.

On paper I dont see them getting any win on those 5 except the Mackems.

Two draws is what I see them getting, Southampton and Villa.

People have read speculation that there is an escape clause in Remy's contract and have automatically assumed he is allowed to leave for free, probably because that was the clause Ba had with West Ham. There is absolutely no reason to believe this is the case with Remy though.
