Dokko
...not that Arry really cares, it's all in for him and f*** the long term consequences. Fernandes is of the same ilk and he'll just walk away when it's over, move on to his next hobby, probably horse racing or casinos. Fernandes is a part owner of QPR...how will be just walk away? Unless he can get someone else to buy his shares then he is stuck with them. 'Arry can walk away because he is an employee and can just cut his ties to the club. But an owner would have to find someone to to buy his shares in the club. He paid £35m for a 66% stake, he'll easy get his start up fee back. How the club is financed is of some debate, but he's a businessman, he won't be spending his own money*, he's not that daft? * I may be wrong here, just going off what people are saying, if you've any info I'd be grateful to hear it, quite interested in how they are setup. I think it is his own money, and he'll have no choice but to write it off. I can't see how any bank or other source of finance would lend the club that sort of dosh, not in this climate, and he himself has said that the club is not in debt. In that interview, he talks about it being an investment, in the same way as a certain amount of capital is needed to start up a car or airline business. What he neglects to consider is that a large number of car dealerships and airlines go bust - sometimes big time - and that it's far more difficult to run a football club at a profit. In fact, it's near impossible, because you're competing against other clubs whose owners are prepared to subsidise their losses, to a greater or lesser extent. Guest nufc1892
QPR's next 5 games Swansea (a) Man Utd (h) Southampton (a) Mackems (h) Aston Villa (a) That's basically all their fixtures for Feb & March, they may be lucky to get a point from those 5, reckon they will struggle to stay up tbh. LRD
Tbf we all thought the same since the turn of the ear but they've had 2 very good draws against Man City and Spurs. Julio Cesar has been class. It'll be plenty of draws on their way to safety. Hope to be proven wrong of course.

Draws aren't good enough, they need to win games like Norwich home as the teams around them are (apart from Villa). Gaps too big for draws.

Jaehyun
So we can pick him up for a free at the end of the season then?
Unbelievable
People have read speculation that there is an escape clause in Remy's contract and have automatically assumed he is allowed to leave for free, probably because that was the clause Ba had with West Ham. There is absolutely no reason to believe this is the case with Remy though.

Skeletor
I rate him as a player but this might be the start of him becoming Woodgate-esque with his injuries. Much rather have Aubameyang now.
McCormick
You would have thought they'd have enough quality to see off Southampton and Villa tbh. Looked at the squad the other day and it doesn't lack quality (except perhaps in some positions); and has so many options... Cesar Onuoha Samba Ben Haim Traore JSP Mbia Hoillet Granero Taraabt Mackie It's actually quite fun tinkering with their massive squad and I don't even know if that's their best team tbh, but it looks strong enough to stay up. Ishmael
That midfield is very poorly balanced.
AyeDubbleYoo
Their defence is rank, and their team as a whole seems to lack any sort of cohesion. They are relying on Taraabt, one of the most unpredictable players in the league. I never believed Harry had much of a chance of keeping them up, fair play to him if he manages it. Ishmael
If only their scouting system wasn't the mere whims of the gaffer scrawled onto the back of a Starbucks napkin. Vidic a target ffs Given a few days, even I could have compiled a much better list of targets for £25m.
Mole_Toonfan
Hoilett hardly plays, JSP is over the hill, Mbia is a CB playing in midfield, Granero is another midfielder who is all style but no substance and quite frankly i don't rate him. So basically they are relying on Taarabt to provide the spark..... honestly if they stay up they should give Julio Cesar a medal because he will be the reason they do it. Said it for a while now but i'll be very surprised if they stay up and the Remy injury means they have little to no cutting edge which gives me even more confidence they won't stay up. LRD
Quite surprised Hoilett has barely got a look-in this season. He was one of the star performers in a poor Blackburn side and there was keen competition for his signature last summer. Seems it has all fallen to pieces for him. Mole_Toonfan
On Hoilett i think Sewelly was right in what he said about him in the summer. ( can't remember the exact words) In a nutshell he's a very talented footballer but lacks brain and any idea what the word "Team" means. When you look at it like that its not that surprising he's been out in the cold.
