Shearergol
Comparing him to Lampard is a wierd one, he isn't a great finisher and he beats players by steamrolling through and his constant running... Whereas... I wasn't comparing him to Lampard. I was questioning what a box to box midfielder is. Yaya scores goals too. Loads of them. He's a box to box midfielder. TRon
I always thought a box to box midfielder scored, a la Lampard? He looked like he had goals in him when he arrived, and he's scored a couple of belters to be fair, but he doesn't seem to be getting in the box enough and the goals have dried up. But then we never seem to have many players attacking the box when we get in good positions, so I'm wondering if that's down to the player or the instruction from the manager. alexf
Yeah I just meant with his athleticism he can get around the pitch better than anyone. Good at tracking back but almost always is supporting the attack also. What let's him down is his composure infront of goal. He can lay on assists as we have seen from his time on the right wing but when he gets chances he never looks like scoring. I think he will still chip in with the odd goal, and he can only get better as he has great potential but for the moment he's not really a goal threat. LoveItIfWeBeatU
http://www.nufc.com/ Moussa Sissoko has created 48 chances for his team mates in the PL this season from 23 appearances. His nearest rival was Yohan Cabaye with 33 in 17 games. Six of that Sissoko total came at Norwich on Tuesday, the most by a Newcastle player in the PL all season. jdckelly
Surprise surprise, looked better in the middle.... I wouldn't say he looked bad by anyones standards on the right, I actually liked him there personally.

He's averaging more goals for us than Toulouse. I hope this answers your question.

Skirge
So hard to see him burst into a great position them smash a fkn rocket through the box, just needs to slow down a bit and he will be lethal.

Doctor Zaius
I'll tell you what, out of all the things that annoyed me today, most of all it was this f***ing cretin. For the last 15 minutes of the game, he wandered around that pitch with absolute minimal effort. Strolled about and didnt even attempt too make any sort of contribution. At least look like you're trying for f***s sake, but the lack of respect, the lack of care that this bloke had today was staggering. Now you can kinda excuse a lack of ability but to totally and utterly give up, on your home turf infront of your home fans, when they've gone 3-0 up is well and truely unforgivable. Moussa, you're a f***ing disgrace lad.
KaKa
The manager just needs to get a hold of him and tell him to take his time. The same way the manager just needs to get a hold of Ban Arfa and tell him to keep it a bit more simple, but still enjoy himself. These guys need some good man management and positive reinforcement. I guarantee the manager does neither, instead he harps on about tracking back and getting stuck in, and could give a fuck about anything else. Mick
He had a shocker today, at one point he was about to take a shot and pulled his leg so far back he'd been tackled before reaching the ball, it was like watching a boxer telegraph a punch. Jordan
At one point he was clean through today, then preceded to wait for the defence to get back. I was going insane at that, he's a moron. Whenever he's in a situation where he has to think he fucks it up.

Guest Howaythetoon
Those first touches, those attempts to pass and that time when he should have shot... He is quick, very strong, has a good engine on him and does seem to work hard but he's an extremely limited footballer.
Super Duper Branko Strupar
This lad needs given a position and trained at it. I'm sure he could be a very good PL player, but at present he's too inconsistent and unsure. Doesn't help that he's whored out to any position going. He should be practising the same role every day and being the sole person commanding that role every weekend. Driving on from CM, either to be driving at the box and playing the ball to those ahead of him or out wide, and legging to back to help Tiote/Anita clean up, collecting the ball when it's won. Guest ElCid
48 chances my arse. Keep saying this with him, Anita and Tiote in the team you are not going to create chances or control the midfield. Anita for me is not a premier league player and often gets bullied out of games - he is ok but is not suited to the hustle and bustle of the premier league and really doesn't dominate the field with the football either. Sissoko's control is woeful and he loses the ball more than any other player on the pitch. Tiote today showed he is a liability in waiting but putting him and Anita in the centre of the pitch in my opinion is not going to allow you the platform to win games on a regular basis.
