Does seem to be your standard awful modern footballer. Will be striking like his marra Cabaye in no time.

One of the club's golden geese though so will be treat like a king while those who have given the club their all are sacked two at a time. Football's minging.

There is no evidence for any of this

Whores himself out at any opportunity and has shown a distinct lack of interest on the pitch at times this season. Vast swathes of evidence.

He said he would like to play in the champions league in the future and that he'd like to play for Mourinho. It hardly takes a rocket science to realise that someone that plays for Newcastle would want to play for Mourinho and in the champions league one day. I don't agree that he showed a lack of interest either. I think people on this forum are too quick to say that players aren't trying when they are playing poorly. He tried as hard as he always did but he has a very all or nothing style so when it doesn't work out it looks bad. If you look back at most of our games he always creates at least one decent chance in a game despite playing poorly

Moussa Sissoko to L'Équipe: "For my future, I am thinking about it. Deschamps has said that the 2015/16 season is very important..."

Sissoko cont: "...That you need to be playing regularly. At Newcastle, I have that possibility... I will speak to my uncle, who's my agent."

Don't see the problem. He was excited at the possibility of his boyhood hero becoming manager. We're now going to appoint boring Steve and showing no ambition again so why shouldn't he be entitled to change his mind too?

"Speaking in France, Moussa Sissoko said he was “happy” for McClaren – who he will be working with next season. “I don’t know anything about Steve McClaren but I’m happy for him,” he said."

So I guess McClaren will not be a great draw to prospective signings.

Because some div who flirts with clubs way above his level in every transfer window says he's never heard of him?

We signed Ben Arfa under Chris Hughton for goodness sake.

This guy needs to keep his gob shut. What happened to that media ban.

Only the the captain and vice should do unauthorised interviews IMO.

He's signed names like Mendieta, Diego & Hasselbaink so I don't think it should be too much of an issue. (as if we were ever going down the big-signings route). :yao:

They beat us at signing Mendieta. I was fuming at the time, fucking Middlesbrough beating us in the transfer market

McClaren has won more than Sissoko has, and possibly ever will  :cheesy:

It's that he never shuts up for me, he's making comments about his future every month.  It's tiresome as fuck.

Well I guess he gets asked about it every month. Maybe Ian's right and he should stop giving interviews.

Aye when he's away on international duty their journalists are naturally going to ask him why the hell he's at Newcastle still.

French journalists for some reason strike me as the marauding, fawning paparazzi of 1960s Rome, where any old soundbite will do when in the presence of anyone remotely famous. It's not just Sissoko, there have been a litany of quotes from most of our French contingent (except Gouffran, lol) whenever they cross the channel.
