buzza
For a guy playing out of position I thought he was 10/10! Very composed and great pace and enthusiasm
AyeDubbleYoo
Didn't see the game but slightly disappointed he played at RB. Guess the second leg might require rotation so he'll play at CB.
Guest icemanblue
He's class. Athletic, strong and quick as fuck. Reads the game very well. Never a right back, like.
The College Dropout
Didn't see the game but slightly disappointed he played at RB. Guess the second leg might require rotation so he'll play at CB. Doubt it. We should go there with a full team.
Flip
Comforting to know he can play that position too. Did well.
LFEE
He got better as the game went on. This... Was thinking at the start he's looked the more nervous of all our new signings who've played taking into account his other 2 showings but by the end of the game he'd really found his feet... Hopefully gets a run in his proper position soon...

joeyt
We should be giving this guy more playing time in the PL, even if it means bringing Colo off at HT. Colo will be leaving in summer and we have to look to the future - this guy is an international and cost the biggest fee last month.
Magpie
Started a a bit nervously for me but especially by the second half his class came to the fore. As already mentioned it's clear to see he reads the game very, very well.
SiLvOR
Thought he looked really good myself. Was powerful in the air, really quick and considering he was shoehorned into RB, not afraid to get forward to help with attacks.
sugoinufc
did well as RB...but maybe play him as CB and simpson on RB against Metalist away...in order to give taylor or colo a rest.
Mole_Toonfan
He's class. Athletic, strong and quick as f***. Reads the game very well. Never a right back, like. Nice to know he can play there if required though, thought he was class myself defensively solid all game and grew into the game offensively as it went on. Dokko
Forgot about him at times last night, which is the biggest compliment you can give a defender IMO. Santon on the other hand was worrying. Think he needs a rest mentally.
Guest neesy111
Looked fine and pacey, think he'll be an asset once he's in the team. Not a RB though.

Looks as if he's jaded and has lost his concentration way too much lately.
NUFC_Chris
Aye, impressed. Big, strong, quick and good in the air. Looking forward to seeing him play at CB, cos a RB he aint.
jimmymag
Aye, impressed. Big, strong, quick and good in the air. Looking forward to seeing him play at CB, cos a RB he aint. I think he could play anywhere he wants based on last night. Big, strong, pacy, good touch and composed on the ball. Obviously, with his physical attributes and experience he's best suited to CB, and I'd like to see him there asap as he showed he was quick and that's what we're missing back there. sportnet
good left foot as well
Yorkie
I thought he was very, very good technically. Looks like he's going to be a top player imo. He was chuffed when he played that cross in for Cisse's second 'goal', too.

I agree he can play there, he's a good footballer. Just meant I think he's a bit wasted there.
Newcastle Fan
Aye, impressed. Big, strong, quick and good in the air. Looking forward to seeing him play at CB, cos a RB he aint. That was probably the best RB performance by one of our players the whole season
Kanj
I thought he was very, very good technically. Looks like he's going to be a top player imo. He was chuffed when he played that cross in for Cisse's second 'goal', too. I knew he was good on the ball, but I didn't expect him to play some really good weighted passes into space in attacking positions as well. He is a gifted footballer no doubt. That cross was perfectly driven with pace, It probably was one of our top crosses of the season too.
AyeDubbleYoo
On the highlights videos before he signed he made some absolutely amazing runs and passes out of the CB position.
