Sima
Pardew to start him and Taylor on the bench and play Williamshit on Tuesday?
Guest Shorty
:snod: Really chuffed with this signing. Hopefully we can get the others 'over the line' asap which should give us the lift we desperately need.
themanupstairs
Pardew to start him and Taylor on the bench and play Williamshit on Tuesday? I actually think we have enough time to work with him by the time Tuesday rolls around. We've spent this money to keep us up, and that task starts with the 6 pointer at Villa. Also, it's not like we've brought in players who have been out of action/on a winter break. They are all fit to go and played games last week. Disco
@thehuwdavies Pre-empting this: commentators, please don't call Yanga-Mbiwa 'Mbiwa' (a la 'Ekotto'). It's double-barrelled. You don't call SWP 'Phillips'

Sean
Refused to get excited about this until it was confirmed. At last some positive news that can hopefully give the team and fans a lift, god knows we need a lift!
Skeletor
Andy Brassell @andybrassell Laurent Nicollin (son of Loulou, runs club day-today), also in Midi Libre: "He's shown class; it's up to us to do the same. If he hadn't... Andy Brassell @andybrassell (cont)...have extended his contract recently, we wouldn't have got a cent for him." Adds MYM asked to leave day after CdL exit to Rennes. So it was worth rooting for Rennes
