f***ing Rafa subbing a RB for a RB when they are trailing and that useless tart is up front

neesy will run this place in a few weeks imo

Hopefully, he's a real man of honour.

:pilko:

OK then, he isn't.

I'll freely admit I'm an idiot tbh.

 Erm, harsh.

You don't have to be clever to be a man of honour anyway.

Genuine question here (was discussing with my mate earlier) - why did Torres turn to s***? Was it just the move to Chelsea that took all the confidence out of him or was it injuries?

He was s**** in his last season at Liverpool as well.

For me he's lost a little pace and a load of acceleration.

He scored more goals in his last 6 months at Liverpool than in the next 18 at Chelsea, IIRC.

His knee injuries hurt him a lot, losing pace and power which he based a lot of his game around. But there's a big deal of confidence issues there; he reminds me a lot of Atlético Torres, when there was this huge hype around him and he would snap at chances time after time. Then when he moved to Liverpool he became much more composed and confident.

He'd been poor the last year there hadn't he?

He has been poor for about 3 years now, tbh.

It isn't a "blip" he's going through, I just genuinely think he's a poor striker for the level he's playing at.

However, it doesn't help when ever he misses a chance the commentator will say "Urgh!! The OLD Torres would of scored that!".

Badly needs a move back to Spain, imo. His days in England are done.
