TheHoob
I'll be happy with another 11 points and staying up, putting out a strong team for the Europa League will be a bonus too. Think a few people are getting a bit carried away predicting we'll only be beaten twice after the season we've had

Skeletor
Winning the Europa League would be acceptable. What a farce of a season though[/Chelsea fan]
Decky
Given the season we have had I seriously doubt we can go on a run of 7 games unbeaten, or even a run of 3 wins on the trot (when was the last time we did that). We're still going to drop stupid points and we still have Pardew in the dug out, cast your mind back to the Reading game. I think Ben Arfa will be key in the run. End of last season. Won 6 in a row. That is just unthinkable given the season we're having!
Consortium of one
I think finishing with 52 points is probably the best we could hope for but I think that would only be good for 8th unless Liverpool begins to tank it.
Decky
I think we all need to get a bit of perspective, we don't want to set ourselves up for a massive fall. It's great to win two games in a row but realistically Villa are a poor side and they absolutely battered us in the second half. That kind of attitude and game plan is always going to be a possibility under Pardew. The Chelsea game was absolutely fantastic, but we do generally raise our game against the sides towards the top of the table, we were pretty good at Old Trafford as well. I can't see us getting 20+ points in our remaining games given that we only got 27 in our first 25 games.

Interpolic
It's a real shame we can't play many of the new lads in Europe, it might help our league form but we'd surely be dark horses to get really far if they were available.
midstoon
43 was the immediate figure that popped into my head. Yep i was gonna say 43 probably be more but don't want to get over confident after 2 good results.

Mole_Toonfan
I personally think we can get a lot of points after the Spurs game ( City aside) pretty much all of them are very winnable. Wouldn't surprise me if we got more than 20 points between now and end of season. Maybe i'm delusional, but i don't think its out of the realms of possibility. aussiemag
All i want is a strong to end to the season to go into next year with some momentum as we can't really achieve anything significant this season. So i think 10th is a decent target, anything on top of it would be a massive bonus. Aye, I've already started to dream about what we can do next season with this squad and one or two additions. Shame this season essentially feels like a write off. 10th would be a good aim now, we are only 3 pts off it. A win now on Saturday and we will push for 7th. A loss and I think 11-14th will be realistic. I think 7th has gone tbh, Liverpool sitting 9 pts above is just too much imo. 8th is reachable if we have a very good run but it'll be tough with Swansea and West Brom 7 pts better off, with both to play though you never know. Not if we beat them. It's only two wins to make up. Don't know their fixture list though.
