There's no need for the full on negativity like. People cannot see us picking up any points but they think that Villa and Wigan will?

As bad as Pardew is I still don't think we've ever really been below them this season and I see no reason why that has to change in a few games time. I do think that we would be better off letting him go now just to shake things up a bit, mind, but I can also see the massive risks doing so would bring.

We are in free fall, it's all about where we land. Villa and Wigan are fighting.

Yeah, but we have a points cushion on both sides (Villa could cut that tonight) and they have to play each other. It's just incredibly negative to assume that we will not pick up any points from our remaining games but Villa and Wigan will.

Two away games in the capital where we historically are fucking awful then last game of the season we've got arsenal who are chasing champions league while our last two home games we shipped in 9 goals and scored none. You've got to be incredibly optimistic that we'd pick up any points from our last 3 games IMO, qpr being the most likely, and again we are relying on a team to put up no fight now the are down.

Villa and Wigan are playing well, picking up points and Wigan have a game in hand. Villa win tonight they'll finish ahead of us, so were down to one team, Wigan, good enough to get to a FA cup final and escape relegation 4 years running on the last day of the season (or some mad shit like that)

Its not looking good IMO, I can't get positive about our situation in the slightest, my last bit of positivity left me at 3-0 against the mackems.

Not to mention the 7 goals we shipped last time we played Arsenal. Our only remaining home game.

Basically we won't help ourselves, so were relying on others to do us a favour. How many fucking times has that worked out this season?  Just about every important result has gone against us and now suddenly it's all going to go our way.

With 3 games left and sitting 5 points ahead of Wigan, we're hoping they fuck up. That's how bad we think we are under Pardew. And are that bad tbh.

He should be sacked for that alone.

Negative? Realistic, looking at the way we've been playing. This is what's worrying people. Nobody's being an emo plonker putting on mascara and crying about 4-4-2, some of us are seriously worried about going down from the evidence that's been served up in recent games (some may say all season).

 what yee rattling on about man?

Top class repost that mind, one of the best I've read

Now do you fancy answering the question as I genuinely have no idea what the fuck you're trying to get across your previous post, it was absurd.

Don't forget Wigan have only got 2 points from their last 5 games. Yes they are playing better than us but they are where they are for a reason we can't just assume they will win all the remaining games and we'll get nothing.

I think they will beat Swansea at home as Swansea seem on holiday but the rest of their fixtures are going to be difficult. West Brom away is possible but not easy, then Arsenal away 3 days after a cup final? Ofcourse then the big one villa vs wigan.

Areet, we'll get beat off West Ham, QPR AND Arsenal whilst Villa and Wigan will f***ing win the Jules Rimet trophy together.

:fool:

Nah Mick you're right man, honestly. There's no chance at all of us staying up with Villa and Wigan breathing down our necks. We're completely fucked.

Less of this nonsense Hans. As Wullie noted, it is a 100% certainty that we're going down. It's basic mathematics mate. There may be a 5 point gap and Wigan may be utterly woeful, but the numbers don't lie. Don't let the Pardew apologists bring you to their level. What's done is done.

Wigan woeful? What the f*** does that make us?  :jesuswept:

Well... they are currently 5 points below us, so it would be hard to argue they are better than us.

Wigan are a good outfit when they turn it on. Villa are too. We're consistently terrible. It's perfectly reasonable to expect them to out-point us in the last three games. Just a matter of how much.

True.

If Villa lose today they would have beat us by 4 clear points. They play fellow relegation strugglers Nowrich & Wigan as well as Chelsea.

I don't think anyone would argue that we aren't in a lot of trouble, but this "We're definitely down unless Pardew is sacked" attitude is a bit over the top imo.

Hans, you're colluding two different issues here. When Pards gets the sack is immaterial to the discussion about whether or not we'll get relegated, and why some think we may. All we're saying is that the odds are stacked against us. And it freaking sucks.

No time for jokes now, it's time to get together and try to save NUFC from relegation, and myself pray to win EL and Portuguese League.

I can see villa getting something tonight and against Norwich. I can see Wigan beating Swansea and maybe a draw against West Brom. Now if we lose our next 3 games we may not have the goal difference and both Wigan and Villa could draw last game to both be safe.

I think this will happen and we will be fucked. We get a single point and I reckon we may just be safe by skin of our teeth, are you confident we will even get a point because i'm not

Relegated or not he has to go, made far to many mistakes that were preventable this season and proven himself inept. He will never take us forward and expect more of same next season

Where have I said that?  I can't see us getting another point this season and I wouldn't say that Wigan and Villa will not get the points they both need, I haven't at any time said that they will get them.

Both of those teams are playing good football and are capable of winning games, Villa could be above us tonight if they win by less than Liverpool put past us in one game.
