ponsaelius
De Gea Nearly as bad as Neuer apparently being the 3rd best player in the world. Keepers aren't even footballers and should be banned from awards.
SEMTEX
PFA PotY nominees: Hazard, Kane, De Gea, Coutinho, Sanchez, Costa PFA YPotY nominees: Hazard, Kane, De Gea, Coutinho, Sterling, Courtois Bit lame that 4 are in both. I guess Hazard should win both, then. I mean, given the shitness of this award set up, isn't it guaranteed you win the young player if you win the poty (and you're eligible..)? SEMTEX
Incidentally, I immediately discount anyone nominated for both. Therefore, Sanchez & Sterling.
Tiresias
Are Swansea the most boring team in the league? He asks on a forum full of NUFC fans On pitch we're dull yes but overall were basically dull in all the wrong places
Deuce
Should change the YPoY eligibility. Make it something like '24 years-old or younger AND first season with 25+ PL appearances.' Make it more of a "rookie of the year" award.

midds
Always deceptive these awards due to the voting taking place around Xmas. If I was voting now I'd go hazard and Kane but wouldn't be surprised to see De Gea run either of them close for one of them.

triggs
John Terry voted for Coutinho as his player of the year Probably because he wants Hazard to win and Coutinho isn't a threat

Guest firetotheworks
Last time I listened, they were all saying that 'all publicity is good publicity'...funny that, when we were all against Pardew they were all saying that Ashley was the real problem. They're just a bunch of moaners who don't see the good in anything the fans want to do that even slightly rocks the boat.
Ryan
Bayern's medical team have apparently all left the club after a bust up with Pep Guardiola last night. He blamed them for the defeat to Porto. Pep wasn't happy with the club doctor last week either when Benatia got injured in the cup game against Leverkusen, sarcastically applauded in his face. ponsaelius
While it's true that in Bayern's squad 4-5 of their best players (Robben, Ribery, Alaba, Schweinsteiger, Martinez off the top of my head) are all injured. For all their quality and the talented German core it's still Ribery and particularly Robben that stop them being static and one dimensional. They've also seemed to have various problems with other players too and some of the older players have looked pretty leg weary when I've seen them tbh. Still not sure it justifies Guardiola acting like a total megalomaniac. Think he's feeling the pressure because he could legit be fucked if they got out next week. ponsaelius
I mean, Bayern's current situation is like Madrid being without Ronaldo, Bale, Modric and Ramos or Barca without their front 3. Yet you barely see those sides with 1 big name out nevermind four. I'd say Bayern's squad is more balanced/deep and less about star power but it's still a significant blow having those players unavailable.

Pity we couldn't censor it from all images on here.

Most systems but IMO especially Guardiola's system needs two match winners such as Robben and Ribery as you mentioned or it becomes boring and easy for top European teams to defend. Even if you look at the World Cup Germany lacked one genuine consistent match winner and this is why they needed to go to extra time against Argentina to win it and arguably should have been beaten in normal time.
