They were after Scocco in the summer, weren't they? It suggests that Di Fanti is still picking the players.

 

Aye they were, he's a decent player tbh but whether he can come straight from South America to the PL and make an impact is a huge ask. He's outside shot for the Argie WC squad if he comes over and does OK.

Of recent times Yacob, Sandro & Oscar would be the 3 that would spring to mind for me and before that Nobby is arguably the best. Almost, if not ever, centre backs/forwards though.

Would be the final nail in their coffin if they bring in 3-4 Argie players new to the league after selling Fletcher and Giaccherini for funds. By the time they have adapted to the league they would have been relegated.
