Guest antz1uk
they'd have been better off going for sinclair (if he's still at city?)
David Icke - Son of God
they'd have been better off going for sinclair (if he's still at city?) Sinclair couldn't get a kick at WBA last season. Rodwell is a much better player.
Pilko
Risky, but they probably need to take the odd risk.
TBG
Why does there mongy forum have 10 threads for one player claiming him to be the next messiah He has an FA Community Shield and leage winrar badge marra whut has Ebola won marra?
Stray Mackem
Man City must love these guys. How much did they get off them for Adam Johnson? And now Rodwell too? No way Rodwell should still command such a fee, it's preposterous! The man has done nothing at City. 10 goals from midfield last season, which went a huge way to secure our Premier League status. Also, he's had a few decent games against your lot
Ashley17
Di Canio seemed to revive Johnson, seem to remember him being turboshit for a long time and then Di Canio came in and whilst everybody else was pissed off with him, Johnson seemed to embrace it and might have even been captain for a game or two? Or is that all a lie I've made up?
Alberto2005
Good signing imo.
Guest
He'll have a good season then go back to Everton to replace Barkley in a year or two.
Ameritoon
Don't blame them for taking the chance, but I can't see it ending well. Rodwell's done nothing to prove he can stay healthy, and honestly wasn't anything spectacular before his injury problems anyway.

geordiedean
It's cringe worthy how on RTG they just mention players ll the time and think they are coming to Sunderland. They honestly believe the club is capable of signing anyone And they call us deluded. A club that is a perennial relegation struggler what makes them think they can get anyone they like. Everything about them is shit
joeyt
Vergini going back to them for a season long loan
AyeDubbleYoo
Rodwell is a good signing, he's significantly better than Colback. Fitness obviously the big issue, not sure I would be dropping £10m on him.
Lotus
Healthy Rodwell >>> Tiote
Stifler
He's a good signing however he is only 1 signing. No good having 1 good player if the rest if your squad is shit and pretty much non existent. It's like how the had Bent and Gyan, good players but everyone else was shit and they got no service. taxfree
Meh, not concerned by them signing Rodwell. Feel like he is kind of overrated by many. Van Aanholt annoys me more, but that is just a personal preference.

Everything about them is s*** The only thing that gets big players to Sunderland is money, and even then it's almost at gun point forcing them to join. They have no pull whatsoever to players and i'd say that even if I didn't support Newcastle.
Guest palnese
Confirmed on a 5-year deal. Looks like Borino is going there as well. Mental money for the two of them.
aussiemag
Confirmed on a 5-year deal. Good signing, but not going to make a huge difference to that side. He looked poor the times he did play for city.
Decky
He's probably just enough for them to do the double over us Pardew again this season.
Ketsbaia
At the end of the day, there's still no-one there who can score goals.
aussiemag
He's probably just enough for them to do the double over us Pardew again this season. This is a given. However, they tend to lose against every other relegation/bottom side.

Stuy_O
Still think 10 mill is to much. Hardly played for ages and an absolute crock. Decent player of course but the definition of damaged goods.
