Teasy
If they do it won't be because they signed Stewart Downing, it'll be because we have Alan Pardew.

Disco
Decent signing for West Ham. Given that Carroll is injured though I'm pleased they still have no-one else to play up top. Hopefully this remains the case 'til after we play them.
Newcastle Fan
West Ham seem to be the biggest benefactors from Daglish's horrific transfer policy
KaKa
Allardyce, man ... wow.
KaKa
Good point by Disco. When Carroll is missing through injury, or whatever, they're going to be quite crap, as they don't have any targets other than him.
Shays Given Tim Flowers
Allardyce, man ... wow. He really isn't likeable at all. Think our two games against West Ham have the potential to be the most infuriating games of the season.

Hughesy
Didn't West Ham spend 10 million on Jarvis? Aren't they both left wingers?

Disco
Didn't West Ham spend 10 million on Jarvis? Aren't they both left wingers? They can both play both sides, Jarvis is right footed. Look at this transfer as a replacement for Matt Taylor.

Cajun
Still better than Jonas. Morten Gamst Pedersen would probably offer more than Jonas attacking wise but I wouldn't give him £50k a week and we wouldn't even have to pay the £5m to get him. If we want to sign players just because they are better than our shit ones we deserve to be fighting relegation tbh.

Shame we missed out on Grant Holt, he's better than Shola so throwing a load of money his way would have definitely taken us on the verge of top 4?
