The Battle For More Points than 2010/11 - SUCCESS!

and who is this "Utd" of which you speak ?

I'm guessing he means either Manchester United, Newcastle United, West Ham United, Leeds United, Sheffield United, Scunthorpe United, Colchester United, Peterborough United, Carlisle United, Hartlepool United, Rotherham United, Southend United, Oxford United, Torquay United or Hereford United.

Those fixtures are wrong like. We've already played Spurs for a start.

It doesn't say you're playing Spurs, though, does it?

Newcastle- WBA, Swans (a), Utd (a)

and Utd is of course Manchester United Football Club managed by David Moyes (since Newcastle have been identified as Newcastle).

Still amazes me that they're reeling about how great Arsenal are yet they're actually 3 points worse off from the same results last season

The rolling league table is interesting, but it doesn't supercede the value of the real table man  The teams they're facing aren't the same, just look at Southampton. Arsenal picked up three points against them both years, but last year I doubt Southampton beat Liverpool at Anfield and took points off Man Utd!

Arsenal deserve all the plaudits they're getting. Whether they can keep it up, of course, remains to be seen but they're definite challengers IMO.

It's been mentioned a couple of times in the media like, usually just an aside but I was definitely aware of it.

The old can only beat what is put infront of you adage still reigns supreme though.

It's about timing. They won their last 8 games our something close to that last season. If they can do that this season, they might very well win the league. By November they where out the race last season.

Agree. I was reading that over the last 38 league games they would've won the league, so this is now an extended run of very good form they're on.

That 10 losses in 12 games when Cabaye got injured over the Christmas and New Year period really f*cked us over last year.

If i recall correctly before he got injured we lost like 2 from 9 or something like that, hopefully we can get through the new year a lot more smoothly this time.

WBA up a place despite losing to us again (by virtue of Villa dropping 2 points and 5 goals v Sunderland). We stay unchanged.
