buzza
Dummet has the same problem as Coloccini: a compete lack of pace and slow starters off the block. they both defend by interception or letting their prey have five yards... Put any sort of medium paced winger/attacker near them and they get raped. Colo at least can play the ball out of defence and reads the game well, also is ten years older than dummet. Mbabu needs to come in at left back, we look really weak there at the moment. i thought dummet looked decent there a year or so back but he is absolute tear gas now. Ankles Bennett
Dummett has never been a left back IMHO. He looks far more comfortable at centre back. I would be quite happy to have him as 2nd choice for that position if we can get Matip through the door in January.
The College Dropout
Didn't watch the game but Charlie Nicholas or someone said he was good. What did people think?
triggs
Didn't watch the game but Charlie Nicholas or someone said he was good. What did people think? Alright defensively, shit on the ball
Disco
Aye, did a few decent last min blocks and headers away. Didn't get royally bummed but then again he wasn't up against owt.
Kanj
he's always generally been a decent tackler, better at sliding, and a decent header of the ball. He's a squad player at best, made to look even worse with our lopsided attack on the right and his footballing skills seemed to have diminish year over year. Zero
His problem is he literally break down all our attacking on the left hand side as well.

ben-nufc
He's a third or fourth choice CB playing at LB, it's obvious he's not good enough but at the same time he's not seen as terrible enough to be replaced.
Zero
No, he has to be replaced. It is a must. We need a true LB. Dummett should be tue first choice CB together with Mbemba.
Tsunami
We currently have far more pressing needs than getting a new left back. If we only make one signing it has to be a goal scorer, for all our other deficiencies if we don't get a goal scorer we are going to struggle to get the goals to see us stop up. Varadi
If we could sort out our central midfield then we have the option of using Colback at LB, at least he would contribute something going forward.

Anon
If we could sort out our central midfield then we have the option of using Colback at LB, at least he would contribute something going forward. He doesn't offer anything going forward from the middle of the park
Varadi
I'm no Colback fan, but he's clearly better on the ball than Dummett. Dummett should be a backup centre back and that's it.
thorin
We have a replacement in Mbabu, he nevers gets the chance because Dummy obv. never makes any mistakes according to SMC. Get some glasses while you're at it, will ya? :/

Foluwashola
Rarely seen a professional footballer so terrified of the ball. Saying that, he didn't play too badly yesterday.

Ketsbaia
We desperately need a LB who gets forward, which Dummett never does. It's doing us a lot of harm.
Guest firetotheworks
ahem... Big Mike W??? Dummett is actually a worse offender than Williamson for needlessly hoofing it imo.
