Paul Dummett

I still think Haidara is better, but we need Dummett desperately at the moment.

Im yet to see what Haidara offers, apart from a lengthy injury record. Even from an attacking point of view, he appears limited and he's far weaker defensively than Dummett.

He is what he is, solid-ish defender but not really a fullback in the normal PL sense of the word. At the moment I'm incredibly happy he's back though, he's infinitely better than the alternatives.

If he hadn't got injured we probably would have another 6 points or so.

Just checked:

21 points from 18 games Dummett started, 1.17ppg

7 points from 15 he missed, 0.47ppg

Suggests we would be in a much better position had he stayed fit.

That's pretty startling.

Saw this bumped, opened it and genuinely though Dummet was out with a stroke

Dopey bastard that you are.

think mbabu is better than both dummet and haidara

Only played like one game tbf

Been lifted to Aarons level of expectation. Played 1 game - everyone thinks he should play every game

We've not used Aarons as a forward LW since the Palace game when he killed it.

From the word go you could see that Navas was never going to get the better of him

He did once in the first half where Darlow made a good save after Navas went clean through but aside from that think he shores up the left well.

Not a world beater but strong header of the ball, decent tackling/one-on-one defending and positionally sound. Shame he's generally garbage at anything other than the basics on the ball but you'd sacrifice that for stability in our current plight; which he definitely provides.
