He doesn't do that. Leave him be. Weak link, ffs. He's a defender who defends well. You constantly brought up Coloccini for like 4 years when everybody else disagreed with you, man. In one on one's and defending the far post (the two most important roles of a fullback!) he's the best we've had since prime Enrique. For the manager we have and style we play, he's fine. Clearly he would never play well for a keep ball side. Love it when someone comes out with something like this. Not that I'm criticising Dummett's positional sense like. Funny how people think a decent manager and a few years will without much doubt make a more attacking but less solid fullback better defensively, but never entertain the idea the other way around. His crossing is actually pretty decent, his problem is actually getting into that position in the first place. He'll never be taking people on but if he can just get more comfortable playing simple balls he'll be very useful cover even in the premier league. Significantly more athletic player who should be starting ahead of Dummett. Although I would take Dummett in left back all season if Rafa agreed never to play Colback again!
