Injury prone player and coach well known for archaic training and multiple injury crises? A perfect combo

Didn’t seem injury prone under Rafa. Never been fit since his outburst aimed at Bruce after the Norwich game

He was injury prone under him in the PL.

Maybe his body’s just not cut out for the intensity of the Premier League?

PL appearances each year: 18, 25, 23, 20, 20 (only the first season he wasn’t really first choice), then a random 45 in the Championship.

Ameobi, Carroll, Taylor, Dummett....probably our 4 ‘talents’ from the last 20 years, all made of glass. Coincidence?

Interesting observation. However, not quite sure what the meaning behind your point. That our youth academy are crap at conditioning the players from young age and therefore this takes its toll on them throughout the careers?

Something at youth level when the players are developing maybe? They’re the 4 who’ve played at Premier League level the most, all injury prone.

The Dummett news will doubtless prompt further speculation that United could attempt to bring former loanee Jetro Willems back to SJP.

The 26 year-old returned to his parent club Eintracht Frankfurt in January with a knee injury and hasn't played since, although reportedly close to a comeback.

As it stands, Willems will be a free agent next summer and his chances of regaining a squad place for the second half of the Bundesliga season look to be fading.

Must admit, I’m enjoying the sly little digs the local media are giving. No opinion, just facts like that which show how ridiculous some of the things he does are. He did the same with Lejeune last year which probably ended his career as an NUFC player.

Yep. Good strategy, he can’t call them out for a witch-hunt or what have you. Miles just stated facts there but you can see exactly what he was eluding too.
